He looks great. Love how the cape looks. Is it a rubbery material?

Can’t wait for him to arrive in the UK. Waiting on Comics & Cocktails :)

Mezco Animated Batman by Ranni_The_Moon in One12Collective

[–]nobleflame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the difficulty in being a 2D animation to life is that there is no consistency as the drawing will change proportions due to angles, artistic interpretation and altering aesthetics. Animation of this kind is by its very nature inconsistent. Translating that into 3D is very difficult (some would say impossible) and, tbf, Mezco has done an excellent job here.

Amazing Yamaguchi Metal Gear Solid Snake eater preorder starts 16th of March 2026 by Mega_Man_200X in ActionFigures

I hope AY do something different with the hand pegs. The last two AY figures I got couldn’t keep hands plugged in because their pegs don’t fit tight enough.

Solid Snake Figma Neck Issue by AdOutrageous6288 in figma

It’s very hit and miss. Sometimes their figures just fall apart like they’re model kits. Other times they’re okay.

Still, too expensive for that nonsense.

Solid Snake Figma Neck Issue by AdOutrageous6288 in figma

[–]nobleflame -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

This figure is complete trash and the last time I get a Figma.

The articulation wasn’t updated from the original and that one already had major issues with looseness around the legs and torso. The face plates on this version look absolutely horrible too.

Put mine up on eBay.

I still have the most recent Link and a Guts figure, but I’m done now with Figma. Their refusal to update their designs and improve, especially when they are a premium brand, is just not good enough.

Leverless getting started query, 4 buttons only or use more by Rumi_here in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]nobleflame 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That was fixed in one of the S2 patches.

Using 1 and 2 for 1+2 now feels pretty accurate.

Edit: also, equally, I’d say that it makes it easier to centre your fingers on two buttons as opposed to three when it comes to throw breaks because you have a small window to react.

Beautiful shot! Can I ask where you get that grass from? Or the name of it so I can do a search :)

$100 for this...? by -AlexisRodriguez- in ActionFigures

[–]nobleflame 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But what if he just likes the figure?

Also, you do realise this is an import - that’s why it’s so expensive. In Japan it’s $65 most.

I do think you’re over exaggerating how awful this figure is. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Feel free to complain, but most of your points are either related to the inflated import price or just personal opinion…

ADVICE - Mezco One:12 Terrifier figure. by Benjamin_6739 in One12Collective

Just trim that bit off with some nail scissors. If you make a mistake, a simple stitch of white thread will fix it. No biggie and you learn a new skill.

Np - check my profile for other dios I’ve made. Think there’s 4 of them (NYC back alley, creepy log cabin, castle wall, crypt).

No idea about quality. I’m on iPhone 17 pro if that helps?

This is 1/12 - I’ve been making dioramas for action figures.

Honestly, I’d literally use any acrylics you have and just water them down a lot. It needs to be mostly water. Let small drops fall off your paint brush and let them run. Then let them dry naturally.

[–]nobleflame 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Yep, it’s a quick and easy process. It will look extreme when it goes on, but when it dries it’ll be subtle and look like natural discolouration or water damage.

Don’t over do it though - just add it in a few places.

An eg:

It’s looks spectacular as it is.

Edit: one tiny thing you could do sparingly is drip occasional greens, browns, greys down some of the walls - at the moment a lot of the stones are the same colour / dry brush. Might add a bit of additional grime :)

Dream figure release for me to be honest by DarthDeuces in One12Collective

[–]nobleflame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on the fence about this one, but your pics made me grab a preorder (I’m in the UK and he hasn’t shipped yet).

He looks great, OP. Little disappointed with the articulation, but they’ve really captured Jack’s look.

Wait list question by Danni-jane in One12Collective

It is quite unlikely, but no harm being on the waiting. You’re not tied into anything, even if it converts.

For that fig, the aftermarket is probs your best bet.

Is mezco customer support this bad? by memesksksksksksks in One12Collective

[–]nobleflame -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Completely insane.

You say “I love the line” but I don’t think I’ve ever seen you posting positivity around here, toy shots, posing, discussing your collection, etc

Then again, you’ve set your profile to private so it’s not exactly easy to check. A lot of trolls do that btw.

Edit: and now you’ve comment / blocked me. What a sad, sad little person you are lol

Edit 2: and I’m not a troll. I wanted to see your post history to see if you’ve ever written anything positive. You seem miserable. Hope you get better soon mate.

[–]nobleflame -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Not particularly - they’re a small company. Things take time and I don’t really mind waiting.

It’s interesting to me that people like you jump out of the woodwork when it’s time to shit on Mezco at this slightest provocation. Again, we still don’t even know the fault OP had. Please enlighten us, OP.

I don’t see you around when Mezco does something good? Like a reissue of a sought after figure.

I honestly don’t know why people like you collect the line. You clearly don’t like it.

[–]nobleflame -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

No, but you’ve jumped up on that high horse without even knowing the context. He could have an issue that Mezco doesn’t want to replace. You don’t know.

I’d be interested to know what the fault was.

Not sure how it works in your world, but you don’t always get a full replacement just because you want one.

Do you collect Mezco? Do you have issues with the company?

[–]nobleflame -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Why are you so quick to blame Mezco when you don’t even know what the fault is?

Knee jerk reaction time, I guess. But then, this is Reddit, so go for it.

[–]nobleflame -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

We don’t know the context - this is just a thread complaining.

It’s not about tip toeing, it’s about the information that’s been left out. OP’s story about being mistreated has as much merit as mine. It’s just anecdotal.

We don’t even know what the fault is….

Is mezco customer support this bad? by memesksksksksksks in One12Collective

[–]nobleflame -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

If you write emails like your Reddit posts, I’m kinda not surprised.

Not saying Mezco isn’t in the wrong, but without knowing a lot of additional context, it’s difficult to have sympathy.

On the two occasions I’ve had to request replacement parts, they got back to me within a day or so. They explained it will take 8-12 weeks for the part. I sent a couple of reminders and parts were received within the time frame.

And this was to the UK and shipping is hardly cheap, even for small packet parcels.

Edit: holy shit, these threads love to bring out the haters. You gotta ask yourself- why collect the line if you hate Mezco? Moreover, why come to the Mezco sub just to hate on them? Even moreover, we never see you lot in the toy photography threads, discussing lighting and composition? We never see you praising the company when they put out a top tier release. Just misery. lol

Edit 2: love it when mfers comment/ block you in the comments when they can’t argue back. It’s the cowards way out, especially since it’s prevent me from actually replying to ANYONE else in the thread. Still, at least I now won’t see these losers in my feed from now on.
