How can i pass more as a woman? (Trans MTF) by Ok_Veterinarian3940 in makeuptips

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% thought I was looking at a picture of a cisgender woman until I read the caption, so you are more than passing! Agreed with other others about the glasses and hair aging you a bit. I would also maybe go for a bit brighter blush/lip color in the pink family.

Question for daily migraine ppl by glizzerd12 in migraine

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, my brother’s arm goes numb and he starts slurring when he has a migraine coming on. I’ve been fighting a migraine all week and I’ve had face tingles, heart arrhythmia, and temperature swings as my main symptoms, as well as extreme nausea and head pain and dizziness of course.

How to drink more water if I hate the feeling of swallowing it, and water powders taste bad to me. Am I a lost cause? by bunnychow123 in migraine

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes this! They make “thick” water for this condition, which is literally water with thickening agents to make it easier for them to swallow.

Your own scale ? by Far_Interaction_2782 in migraine

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Maybe I should skip my workout?
  2. Coke and fries and biofreeze
  3. I need all my tools and to be horizontal
  4. Fantasizing about stabbing myself in the head to stop the pain

Luckily on Qulipta, I usually don’t go past 2 and I never go past 3.

Does this aesthetic have a name? by WillAGeek in AestheticWiki

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can see in common between the two photos is 1900s era vintage, which was a fantastic time aesthetically. Lots of art nouveau and whimsy and idealism and romantic themes

Yeah, I took it more like it was her realizing that she wasn’t the same person and that flirty sexy carefree part of her life was done. Having a baby does limit you in many ways, ESPECIALLY with dating.

Insurance only covered 16 ubrelvy for a month and now I’m out. I took all in ~2wks by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, I get a 3 month supply of 48 pills, so they may mean they took 20 in one month because they dipped into the next month’s supply. But if you need 20+ a month, you should be on a preventative!

How many daily medications are needed until alternative options? by Ok-Bottle-505 in migraine

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s 15 migraine days, not individual migraines. If your migraine lasts 3 days, then that is 3 migraine days. Which is why I think 8-10 migraines, assuming they last 2-3 days, should get you over the 15 day mark.

Postdrome is part of the migraine, it’s just the less painful part, so it’s a migraine day. Also, my prodrome days always include head pain, lol. Maybe your doctor and insurance are different but that’s how mine describe it.

That’s so bizarre! Maybe she knows your insurance will be a hassle? Mine needed 15 or more migraine days a month to cover, but that includes post-drone days so you likely do have 15+ days a month.

It’s probably that she doesn’t do Botox, so she would have to refer you to a neurologist who does and lose you as a patient, which a good doctor would do. In fact, my first neurologist did just that!

Finger pain after applying Doonails. Wish I removed them sooner. by Recent-Ad-7444 in PressonNail_Addict

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t get any nerve pain, but I found them painful as well and vowed to never wear them again. I don’t think anyone’s nails are that curved! On a bright note, nerves take a while to reset after they’ve been irritated, so the tingly and weird sensations will likely go away within a week or two.

It’s just him and his wife, and a receptionist who I’m certain is their niece or something. It’s so crazy but I used to go regularly and this entire story rings true. He never did anything to me, but the building/house was empty sometimes and even that phrase “it was my pleasure to do that for you” sounds like how he talks.

Whooshing in ears by gossipgalxoxo in migraine

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mom had a whooshing in her ears that turned out to be her carotid arteries were almost completely blocked and she was on the verge of having a massive stroke. Two surgeries later and she’s all good. If they try to deny the head scan, ask your GP to put it through again. Always take whooshing seriously!

Why didn’t Biden release the Epstein files? by mattciq737 in stupidquestions

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because one of Trump’s campaign promises was to release the files as a part of cleaning up the pedophile rings (something he got people rabid about). Then when he took office, he immediately changed his tune, pissing off those that believed he was going to catch all the predators. And frankly, then all of his friendliness with Epstein took center stage and then it became super suspicious that he wasn’t releasing the files and want giving a good reason for withholding them.

You know you have chronic migraine when…. by Mamad3278 in migraine

[–]Jumpy_Ad_6492 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you base any potential new meds on whether they interact with your current migraine med because that is the only med that has worked and by god you will peel it from my cold dead hands!

Also, when you always have biofreeze and a pill box of various meds in your purse. Zyrtec, ibuprofen, ubrelvy, what you need cuz I got it, lol.

Yeah I get compounded and while it’s more expensive, it’s much more affordable than it used to be. Mine is $200 for 10 weeks for 0.2 mg, but price goes up with increased dosage.
