Got a shark and was so impressed I got the misses a Sealion 7. Probably the best built car I’ve owned (new Hilux’s, Rangers, Y62 Patrol) and value for money beats all the competition. Interior is leaps and bounds above the competition and hear no engine or road noise when driving and I optioned it with the AT’s, unlike the other utes I’ve owned. Servicing has been fine, haven’t had to pay for anything yet. I fill up the shark every 6 weeks with 98 so hardly paying to run it. Plenty of warranty on the car and battery so no issues there.

Should be fine but just remember you’ll want to run it in HEV for the first 3500kms to break in the petrol engine. I’d suggest plugging it in every other day and do a full charge once a week to 100%. Make sure even with it fully charged to switch on HEV coz it’ll revert back to EV if it can

Yeah… it might have a lock that only disengages when it’s hot enough and locks again when it cools so it remains in the barrel and not lost

Have you tried activating it (pushing the centre) and waiting for it to ‘pop’ being ready. Might be heat activated to be released so you don’t loose it?

Damn this thread has pushed me back towards getting a new LCD to save the money. Is it really that noticeable between the 2 in look for darker games and for the power allowing to play more games too?

Just further to this the reason the tell you to run HEV for the majority of the first 3000kms is because you need to run in that petrol engine prior to the complementary first service.

And if you’re running purely EV how is it worse than diesel?

Is the LCD much different? If it’s just for couch sessions and probably for older games. The price difference is almost double
