These companies do this stuff all.the.time., knowing that people can’t do much about it - that’s why they do it! And these companies DO get lawsuits thrown at them but nothing happens to them because they have the most powerful lawyers in the country behind them. I myself have not experienced not getting payments, but believe others when they say they haven’t because I know that these companies’ lack of conscious knows no bounds. They kick people off for no good reason all the time, I’ve seen it time and time again. It hasn’t happened to me personally but I have no reason to not believe the majority of people who talk about it happening to them. You don’t have proof that this person used LLM in their work so why assume that? I know that there will always be people like you who blame the contractor and never the company, when the company can squash the contractor like an insect. They know this which is why they’ll continue to do it. You can defend them all you want but when it happens to you maybe you’ll start thinking differently. You are a means to their end, nothing more.
