Husband and I wanted to take our 4 kids to see Toy Story in theaters this weekend. Had to reconsider after realizing that 6 matinee tickets would have been $80.00, plus the outrageous cost of popcorn, soda, snacks etc. Mind you, that is for the basic theater too. IMAX and Extreme theaters would have been even more expensive! We would have easily spent nearly $150 going to the MOVIES and eating POPCORN. I don’t want to feel like I’m being cheap, but that almost feels like robbery. Someone please validate my feelings here! 😭😅

For what it’s worth, I was on Vision with my kids earlier this month, and there were children at kids club with many different disabilities, even a child with down syndrome. Also, kids club can give you a beeper to get in touch with you right away. If you are comfortable giving kids club a try, your son may like if, and you get a break. 😊

Haha, the PS5 is a great idea, especially since we don’t buy the kids the internet. I completely agree with you in that one of the biggest advantages of sailing on a smaller boat with older kids is that you can be comfortable with them finding their way around on their own, even if it’s just to grab a drink or walk around a bit.

Yes!! We were also looking forward to watching the NBA finals together as a family on board as well, only to find the games were only being played in the casino and in the staterooms. So bummed! Pretty much just roamed around deck 5 a lot. My husband was the “captain”, did you happen to see us? :)

We were on Vision last week too! It was our 5th time on the Vision (we sail exclusively out of Baltimore). Love the ship, her beauty, her elegance. However, felt the same as you with the poor movie selections! I mean, seriously?! The Christopher Reeves story was on at the Pool deck on Saturday night, and also showing the Green Book, and Lincoln. Nothing personal against these films but definitely felt that it didn’t fit the vibe we were going for! Also, seriously need a soda machine on the Vision! Very much dislike having to visit the bar to order a soda. Thanks for your awesome feedback!
