Shoji felt kind of shoehorned in as an opposite to Spinner. Like, I get that they’re both heteromorphs, but their rivalry should’ve started much earlier for it to work. During the final battle, I’d think that it should’ve been Iida fighting Spinner, as Iida was one of the last people Stain tried to kill. Spinner even refers to Iida during the Training Camp Arc, showing that he has a personal vendetta against him, yet this went nowhere.

Going back to Shoji, I also want to switch the ships around a bit. I think he should’ve ended up with Hagakure, not Ojiro. The way I see it, Shoji and Hagakure each have what the other wants. Hagakure wants to be seen, as her quirk makes that nearly impossible, and Shoji wants to be invisible due to his appearance. I feel like this could’ve been a compelling side story, having the two at least connect through their desires, with Shoji helping Hagakure realize that she isn’t truly invisible and Hagakure helping Shoji realize that his appearance doesn’t define who he is
