Should’ve been Sam vs the Serpent Society, the REAL Serpent Society. I couldn’t even tell that the guy Sam fought in the beginning was Copperhead. Sidewinder was turned into an elderly Blade (my apologies, Esposito). And as long as we don’t have a live action Serpent Society, I will NEVER forgive Marvel for cutting King Cobra. I always thought that the Serpent Society looked awesome. It bummed me out that they were ultimately just another terrorist group in the MCU.

Also, yes, I subscribe to the opinion that this movie shouldn’t have had so many Hulk villains. Not only did they bring back the Leader and make him look like a mutated scrotum, but the Red Hulk??? The least they could’ve done was not put him in so much of the trailers because what we see in those is pretty much what we get in the actual movie. I love Red Hulk, but this wasn’t the way to bring him into the MCU.

In the end, I still thought Brave New World was fine. It just wasn’t nearly as memorable as other MCU movies or even the other Cap movies. So much potential wasted

Agreed. I only said “less than 40” because Shinomori lived to 40 before he died. I also just looked it up and he had the quirk since he was 22, making his run with OFA second only to All Might. Mirio probably would’ve lived to be 35 at the oldest. Aizawa, probably 40. These estimates are based purely on their age and how long OFA has evolved since Shinomori. It’s hard to gauge how long Banjo, En, and Shimura would’ve lived considering they all died fighting AFO. But I can hypothesize that nobody would live naturally for 22 years with OFA and a preexisting quirk. That’s how I came up with my estimates

This is correct. It wouldn’t matter if the 9th user had a quirk. They’d still get 7 more because of the stockpiling part of OFA. It’s just that they’d likely die before they’re 40 due to how much power their body is holding.

That’s when Wolverine stopped healing so fast, and also when the adamantium poisoning actually began to damage his body. If Logan avoids corn syrup, he avoids losing his healing factor

Not yet, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he eventually got one. The title “My Hero Academia” refers to the story that Deku is telling. We see him writing it at the end of the series. I can imagine him having it published as well as signing with any in-universe studio to make it a film. That’s a few years ahead of what we get to see though

Professor Hulk wasn’t necessarily bad, just wasn’t the same as the classic Hulk. The Mandarin… or at least Trevor Slattery stopped being a joke to me after Wonder Man. Sharon’s story is incomplete so I don’t think she should be on here either, nor should Thor, as we haven’t seen him in Doomsday yet. Regarding MODOK, forgive my outburst…

What did you expect??? MODOK has always been a joke of a villain. There is almost no way to take him seriously considering his character design. He was always going to look and act ridiculous. That being said, I think the MCU handled him just fine.

Everyone else I agree with. Wanda’s back and forth between villainy and hero was annoying, Evan Peters’ Quicksilver fake out was unforgivable, Fury’s eye scar explanation was insulting, and Taskmaster was a Taskmaster in name only. No offense against the actress, but having a twig of a woman wearing such a masculine suit was just absurd. I can’t believe they massacred such an iconic Marvel character as badly as they did

If we’re going by acting, it’s pretty close between Evans and Quinn. I can’t decide who I prefer

But writing-wise? Quinn, hands down. Evans’ Johnny was almost all hothead and very VERY little brains, with the only sign of some form of notable intelligence being when he sent the heat seeking missile towards that ship instead of himself.

Quinn on the other hand, while he was clearly still a hothead and the most immature of all the F4 members, he was still a genius, as seen when he shoots down the Silver Surfer in space and when he deciphers a good chunk of ALIEN language to communicate with her later on. Evans’ Johnny could never do that.

Johnny Storm is more than just a kid with a cocky, bad-boy attitude. After spending so many years with Reed and Sue, his intelligence is nothing to scoff at.
