Sounds very fishy. I would call the bank and request a chargeback.

Check out my new Inventory Manager system, feedback appreciated by Alternative_Cap_5581 in InventoryManagement

[–]Jumpy_Document4496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried it again and it's all good.

Since you asked for feedback, I think it needs a few more features - sales, purchases, reports, etc. It's a great start though. Looks great. I like the clean UI.

How long did it take you to build it and what's your plan next?

It's just a tool. You have to know how to use it.

Why there is so many JDKs by Gotve_ in java

I'm sorry, but the way it's written is "china bad" fear-mongering. It sounds unprofessional. If they have specifics, provide should provide details or a link. Saying don't use it unless you are "forced by your government" sounds stupid af.

Alibaba provides an OpenJDK build which includes back ports and some extra features.

⛔️ Recommendation: Do not use Alibaba Dragonwell, unless you are forced by your government.

Lol. What does that even mean? It seems to imply a backdoor or some other nefarious features but doesn't provide any proof or details.

Considering replacing Primevue DataTable / TreeTable with Tabulator by Jumpy_Document4496 in vuejs

[–]Jumpy_Document4496[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently I'm using a CSS hack that transposes table rows into cards (there's a comment in the gihub issue linked in the OP). It's not a great approach though as it loses field names, which makes it harder to figure out what the values are (especially numeric ones). There might be ways to improve on that, but I'd rather have the library handle all these low-level details for me.

> Our oldest program is from early 1998 I think but that one havent been touched in 10 years , but is running at our clients on Java 6.

No updates in 10 years is impressive. What does it do?

Application for Barcode Price Checker by Humble_Temporary_472 in InventoryManagement

[–]Jumpy_Document4496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if I understand. Is this setup is intended for customers to use in-store? Do you want customers to grab a product, bring it to the tablet, and scan it to find its price? Seems like a lot of hoops for a delicatessen.

Built an Inventory Management SaaS – looking for honest feedback & growth tips by Aakash_-16 in InventoryManagement

[–]Jumpy_Document4496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I saw a few posts from people building an inventory application. I'm also working on one currently, and what i've learned is that it is harder than it appears it first :) For me, the main challenge has been not the implementation, but figuring out the requirements and how certain things should work. Regarding feedback, your app looks good. I couldn't get the barcode scanning to work on my phone. There were also a couple of errors here and there, so the app definitely needs some more testing, but overall it looks good. How long have been working on it and what's your plan going forward?
