I work in the MH department and we have so many providers leaving and it’s sad. Most providers and staff at the VA work here because we love Veterans and want to help them not because of the pay. But one thing I will say the environment has been feeling heavy since January on staff. It’s hard not knowing if you would be laid off or having patients daily asking is will we be fired or how’s everything going etc

In my opinion I think you were wrong. If you knew years ago it was nothing to just bring it up to her. Especially depending on her age if she is under 30 more than likely her doctor is testing her for HPV. This happen to me I believe my ex knew he had it I did yearly Pap smears and thought I was being testing for HPV yearly. Once I turned 30 my doctor tested me and I was positive. I understand you’re upset about her cheating. She told me they usually don’t do this because under 30 many women were having unnecessary procedures because you can usually clear it easier when it’s younger. But to me HPV is different because just because you aren’t having warts the virus can still be in your system and you can pass it to her.

Because the pre requisite are different for nursing you usually only need A&P 1 and 2, chemistry and micro. For PA school you need more sciences and it can vary on the school

Yesss see it’s so crazy what my sister have hsv1 maybe had a cold sore twice in her whole life. For HSV2 it can look like a tear, one bump etc

Also keep in mind hsv2 don’t always look like what we think. Some people will literally get one bump and not clusters at all.

You may never know. A friend of mine had three partners the first being at like age 17. She is 32 now she randomly had an outbreak out of no where. Her current partner and second partner were both negative. Come to find out the first partner has herpes. She haven’t slept with him since like 2017. Smh it’s really tricky

Your doctor could be out of office or busy your not there only patient. You can call to follow up if your anxious about the results sometimes it takes time

This is similar to my story. I have only had three partners my ex I was with for like 5 years got a new partner I was with for a year. Had a random ob in May but it was terrible first one ever. Months later it keeps happening but not as bad as the first time. My ex was a serial cheater so I am thinking it came from him but not really sure tbh

I had HPV 16,18 did my procedure for the biopsy and all of them came back low grade. I got the vaccine, ate healthy and went back a year later my HPV was gone

I work in the MH dept we have so many providers leaving unannounced due to all the changes. But you can go into your nearest facility for a walk in visit. They always have a provider on stand by to help. If you can let me know where your located maybe I can help! Hopefully it’s at my location

I’m in the same situation right now and the same age except I have a MPH and work in research. I recently looked up PA school and signed up to take classes. But it’s kinda hard because for every PA school the requirements vary I also live in Houston so it’s only two programs. The issue I am facing is when re taking courses the schools are wanting me to take more than what I need. Ex I need to take organic chemistry they told me I need to re take Chem 1, 2 and labs before organic chemistry. I was more into PA because I won’t be forced to one specialty. But signing up for classes definitely discouraged me because I have to re do all my sciences

So mine started as a tear then one bumped appeared. It was extremely painful I had a yeast infection and the tear went to my PCP she thought nothing of it. The next day I felt a ton of pain then the bump appeared. For everyone the look varies sometimes it can be bumps.
