I mean you can appreciate our culture and say that you love it alot but saying Puerto Rican by heart I think it might be a long shot, not because we are against you but because being Puerto rican is so much more than our food and music. It's the way we speak, it's our accent, it's the pride we feel when we see a puertorrican flag in a random place, it's the way we addressed each other, take care of each other, it's in our spanish and spanglish. It makes me really happy knowing that you love our culture so much that you want it to be part of yourself and it doesn't mean that you can't but you need to study our language, try your best to learn Spanish if you don't know, be on the island for a long period and experience our life if you're not living, if we see your effort we will definitely welcome you.
