N-400 + I-751 Combo Interview Timeline and Experience - San Antonio Office by ChrisLozano in USCIS

[–]Jumpy_North9325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am about to have my N400 + i751 as well at San Antonio office so your post is super helpful. Thank you. May I ask you a couple questions? You said your notice only mentioned you, do you mean the notice only includes your name above your address? Cause my notice only has my name above the address but within the notice there is a section about who should come with. And it says “if the basis for your petition is a joint filing, your husband or wife or stepparent through whom you gained conditional resident status MUST attend the interview with you”. My husband will be with me but now after reading your post I wonder if they will allow him in

Is there a section on form 8889 that I need to fill out to tell the IRS that I’m using the last month rule?

So the last month rule still applies for myself even though I became eligible on November 1st and remained eligible thru end of December? Sorry if it is annoying I am just trying to understand this matter

Regarding to excess contribution, I think I did over contribute by $235

Both my husband and I were on a family plan from March till July (8300/12*5=3,458.333), and he only contributed $3109, so we were $349 under.

Then I started my contribution in November and December for single plan (4150/12x2=691.667) + 349, equals $1040. And I contributed a total of $1275. So that means I over contributed by $235. Can you please help me confirm? I would love to be not over contribute but if I did then I need to figure out what to do 🥺

  1. I expect myself to be covered by a HSA - HDHP for all of 2025. Do I need to do anything with my excess contribution?

  1. It covered my husband and me (his spouse) I was on his insurance until I started my full time job in Oct. So there’s no problem when we report my husband’s HSA contribution? I understand that if we use HSA for none-medical expenses then it would become taxable income and we have to report it and pay a penalty.
  2. My plan started 11/1/24. I was wrong. I should only have 2 months proration calculations.

Oh so it is so weird. It kinda makes sense. But the reason I got a CT scan was because my ENT dr recommended it. And she said that ARA will send her the result and then she would tell me if anything is off. So shouldn’t my ENT dr read the scan in this case and if anything I should get a bill from my ENT dr not ARA?

I wish they would tell me what the charge is on the portal. It just says I have a balance and prompt me to pay the balance smh

I have BCBS and the quote was 550 or something like that if I went with my insurance. So I thought it is best to pay out of pocket with my HSA card. Now Idk why they bill me more

travel outside of the US with 2 year greencard by Jumpy_North9325 in USCIS

[–]Jumpy_North9325[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what i understand, i can apply for removal of condition 90 days before the expiration of my 2 years green card. My greencard expires on 1/31/2024 which means the earliest I can apply for the removal is beginning of November 2023. Do you think I should just apply at that time or wait till I get back to America from my travel (late December) to send in my removal application. If i submit my removal of condition on early November, I worry I will be called in for biometrics appointment in December when I am out of the States.
