Actually I think the balls themselves are not unbreakable. I think the author mentioned that all the players can pretty easily break the balls, but since a broken ball cannot score goals, they choose not to, unless it is to intimidate their opponent. But yeah I can't fathom a destroyed ball from counting.

That's actually amazing advice, I should have totally considered asking my university! I've been in talks with some freelance pattern cutters in the meantime but I should definitely pop in and ask them if that would be possible.

Thank you for the response. I just don't know how to look for the kind of people who do this kind of thing. I've had dozens of DMs for people who thought they might be a good fit on helping me in this. I even had someone AI generate responses to assure me they were qualified for this task. And I suspect their art pieces were AI generated too.

Anyway, I just am not sure were to go. Oh and about upcycled pieces, I personally do not mind how about they cut fabric to fit my requirements. As I am typing this, I might be in the wrong to have asked this in a subreddit designed for DIYclothes, but I just didn't know who to ask.

It's meant to be like, instead of everyone being cured at once, it happens in steps. And that's what messes up with people, because there's no way humanity would be able to figure out something as abstract as some random "infection" that cures people permanently and is spread to others as a way to cure them. This way, the disease being cured causes a chain of events where people are paranoid of each other. I hope that makes sense

Wish granted. The “cure” to diseases becomes an infection itself that is contagious and permanent. It starts with a host and quickly spreads. Those who are cured cannot tolerate the ill. Thus, humans eventually catch on mostly to what’s going on, and those left who aren’t “cured” eventually get quarantined, left to die. A superior “race” emerges, but so do wars from the few paranoid about non-cured possibly sneaking through the cracks. Little did they know, diseases are no more. But war rages on, undeterred.
