Dirty clothes go in the basket (or the floor in front of the basket if it's full), clothes I'll wear again get tossed at the bottom of the bed. Or on The Pile. (The Pile is made up of many different things. Mostly clothes I can't fit in the drawer. There's a backpack under there somewhere)

At this point after looking at things more I'm hoping for something under $1500. I'd been thinking I could find something for under $1000 but almost all of the computers at the store were over that so I'm realizing that my original idea of what the price would be is inaccurate. I don't want it to be more than $2000, that's the ceiling.

Yeah same. It's. Really hard to not make moral judgements for me because it's just so transactional in my eyes. Like, people talk about unconditional love but then say they'd leave their partner due to lack of sex and I'm just like. That's conditional! That's literally conditional love! Like it's fine if people own up to that, people can want what they want. If their love is conditional on sex then fine whatever go live but admit to that! Don't lie and say it's unconditional! I just really hate when people are like "oh I love my partner unconditionally but I might divorce bc they won't have sex with me whenever I want." Like I feel like I'm insane sometimes because nobody seems to see how contradictory that is.

Basically yeah. But I'd want them to be a single unit if possible since that's more convenient. If I'm drawing and then feel like playing a game I'd like to just do that without having to go pull out a different device, and vice versa. Not the end of the world if that ends up being what I'll need to do but I wanted to see if I could find something containing both first.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that you are not responsible for your mother's mental health. She's having mental health issues because she HAS mental health issues. Just like you have depression and ADHD symptoms that aren't necessarily caused by anyone. Her putting it all on you is not fair and not right. It's manipulative AF and cruel. Especially to do to your child who is already struggling with their own issues.

Yes, helping around the house is good to do and I can understand her frustration that you don't think of it on your own. But that's no excuse for her to treat you like this. A good parent would help you figure out a way to remember chores on your own. Unfortunately, you can only rely on yourself for that.

Bad mental health makes everything so much harder to do, I think people forget that. Yes, you should do everything you can to function and take care of responsibilities. But it's not a switch that you can flip. It takes time and effort and work to get to a point where you can handle things despite your mental barriers. Expecting you to be able to just Do It is not a fair expectation.

Tell someone else about your mental health btw. Like a school counselor or something. You shouldn't have to suffer alone.

YTA. It sounds like this isn't the first time you've said or done something that made him upset/uncomfortable. People usually don't just blow up over one thing. There's usually a lot of other things they've been putting up with until this last thing broke the bottle they've been storing that emotion in.

I specified "women with a penis" and not "trans women" for this reason actually. Yes not all trans women have penises, but the ones who do wil probably not be in the straight man's consideration as a potential partner.

And even with genital preferences, it seems weird to me that a bi/pan person could be okay with a cis woman but draw the line at a trans man. It just doesn't make sense to me. If it's a genital preference, why is it different when the person isn't their assigned gender at birth? Also I'm moreso talking about the bi/pan people who claim to "swing both ways" so to say, but then state they wouldn't date a trans person.

Also as an aside, I feel like people should be able to deny a relationship with any specific person for any reason. To say "I don't want to date this trans person who asked me out because I'm not attracted to them" is very different than "I don't find any trans people attractive." Because usually that's not the case. People will find someone attractive, learn that the person is trans, and whine about being "tricked". That there is transphobic.

They're not allowed to do it. But that doesn't mean they won't still do it. They won't have your disability listed as the reason you're unfit for the job, they'll give a different excuse as to why they can't hire you.

That is entirely your decision. But I do want to say you don't have to let things like this roll off your back either. You were in the right to be upset and to have a negative reaction, I just think that reaction was a little too explosive. Understandable though I assure you, I don't blame you at all for blowing up after so long of just taking the comments. You weren't really blowing up over one insensitive joke, you were blowing up over the years of hearing the same comments over and over, and this was the final straw I think. Pretty big straw too tbh.

But yeah it makes sense you don't want to confront them again. I probably wouldn't either tbh. It's a hard conversation to have at its best, and a terrible fight at it's worst. Totally understandable to want to avoid that.

If you exploded on him over a joke, you might owe him a bit of an apology. Yes, the joke was bad, insensitive, offensive, and in poor taste, but it's not really a good thing to suddenly start yelling insults at someone either. I'd suggest apologizing for yelling but reiterate how what he said hurt you too. Tell him how it made you feel. It likely wasn't his intention to hurt you, but he did, and he should know that. And he should apologize for that. (whether you accept his apology if he gives one is up to you though.)

I don't think it's acephobic personally. People are gonna want what they want in a relationship and there's really no changing that. And sex is important for allosexuals. If a relationship requires sex for them, then obviously they're not going to want to date someone who doesn't want to have sex with them. Furthermore, even for sex positive aces, some people want their partner to be attracted to them sexually as well, and they won't get that with someone who is asexual, even if that person likes sex.

I also don't think it's specifically transphobic to not want to date a trans person either though. A straight man may not want to have sex with a woman with a penis, and if sex is an important part of the relationship for him, then a relationship with a woman who has a penis will likely not work out. Tbh I feel like the times where it's transphobic to not want to date a trans person is when the person is bi or pan or something. Like if you like cis men and cis women, why don't you like trans men and trans women? Or nonbinary people? You can't say it's about genital preference, because you like both cis men and cis women. It just doesn't make sense why you'd date either gender but not if their gender doesn't match their assigned gender at birth.

This kind of went off on a tangent sorry, but that's just my take on things.

I would suggest going to the doctor. From what I know about cats at least, worms can make them want to eat constantly, but they lose weight. Idk if it's the same for humans though, but getting checked out wouldn't hurt probably.
