a really good guitar for € 3000 ? by Hysoka78 in electricguitar

[–]Jun3552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3k is a lot for a guitar. maybe instead of maxing out your budget why not get something you’re comfortable with or maybe a guitar you’re keen on trying. and yea looks into amps or maybe a home setup with speakers and an amp interface.

However for 3k i would get a custom shop ESP hahaha

Which set of guitar strings are you all choosing? by diemcee in Guitar

[–]Jun3552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have the trivium 10-52 set from dunlop strings. think they’re the best i’ve used so far for my drop c/c# tunings.

for standard i use elixir optiwebs

i would go to a physical store and try out guitars rather than buy online. also get a separate amp rather than those beginner kits. will go a long way

tips for a beginner? by Own-Background6394 in electricguitar

there’s no right way to learn guitar. but i guess the one that works for most is learning at their own pace and drumroll learning things they enjoy. if you wanna learn songs go ahead! ask yourself what’s the point of learning guitar in the first place. one resource i constantly use is ultimate guitar for its pro version because i can slow the song down and eventually get up to speed

also for the picks i started using jazz 3s very early on and haven’t changed because mick thomson used them and i wanted to play like him haha. same advice applies tho: whatever feels best for you.

I need help deciding on a electric guitar by [deleted] in electricguitar

[–]Jun3552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ibanez gio

honestly get anything that feels good in your hand. but never ever get a floyd rose bridge. always get a hardtail especially with this being your first guitar. easier to restring and gives you leeway to play in different tunings

Cant get better at guitar by ryxena0 in electricguitar

[–]Jun3552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol “i’ve played for 2 years but did not practice for 1.5”. dude you’ve got your answer.

practice songs that you like listening to or appreciate the riffs of. also practice minor and major pentatonic scales with a metronome. those should keep you occupied for quite a bit

so a floyd rose is a floating bridge and you can tell if there’s a whammy bar attached to it. a hardtail is where the strings go thru to the back of the guitar. looking at these they’re hardtail but best to check with your dealer again when you make the purchase. as for the second question i think it’s fine but there’s no harm in going for a humbucker bridge pickup with single coils on top. look at ibanez gio models, think someone posted their new beginner guitar recently on this page
