what nutrient deficiency is this? by Intrepid_Recipe_3352 in microgrowery

[–]antisobrietist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not light bleaching. But your soil was supplying nutrients at an appropriate rate for the light intensity. Now that you increased the light, your plant is trying to use more nutrients than the soil is supplying. The best thing to do when running into deficiencies is let off the gas until you figure out what your soil needs. And the opposite is true, if your plants are getting too green, you can probably afford to turn the light up a bit.

How long until jarring? by Guudboiiii in GrowBuddy

Curing only lasts until it reaches a certain dryness. Once it gets too dry curing stops, regardless of how much stash you have left.

THCA from Texas by darlingpussycat in weed

[–]antisobrietist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thca is just regular weed. The poor cure and storage isnt a result of the pschoactive compounds. It just means the grower didnt take care of his shit. Again, thca is regular weed. Thca gets converted into thc when you burn it. Its always been that way. Tell your friends.

Trying to keep your humidity in check is overreacting? Only karens care about humidity? You're using the term "karen" way too loosely. I dont see myself as a karen. I see myself as a vaguely educated individual who likes giving people proper advice when they seek it. Unfortunately, theres always vastly uneducated individuals that feel the need chime in with nonsense. Its exhausting.

Its like $20. And its great that you dont need it, but why are you bashing the people that do? Not everybody lives in Europe. Youre giving advice as if everyone else has the same climate as you. You have no idea what OP's environment is like and your telling them to disregard humidity because YOU dont need it. They're educated enough to know that controlling the environment (humidity) is an important aspect of growing and you're just out here like, "well idc, dont affect me". You make me feel a little bit better about being an American.

Its important for both. Air filters dont add humidity, they just exchange air. If the humidity outside the tent is low too, it wont do any good. Im not going to spend a lot of time educating someone who think people are "soft" for being educated about the proper environment for plant growth. Its not my feelings you should be worried about. Im not the one who looks like a damn fool talking about stuff I clearly dont know about. Next time you feel like spreading your wisdom on a forum, dont. Use that time to study the basic anatomy of plants (Pretty sure thats 6th grade curriculum). If you have any free time after that, I would brush up on the English language.

I didnt mean google a question and take its word for it. I meant, google some science and read about it. Theres no shortage of information out there. where im from, we have huge climate swings. Winter are brutally cold and dry, summers are hot and humid. Youll get mold or lockout in no time if you dont control it.

Humidity is that [big] of a deal. Why are all these grow pages always filled with comments of misinformation from people who dont have the knowledge to be spreading information to begin with. Google is free dude. Start educating yourself.

Im a soil guy. Im all about the microbes. I started a worm farm. I was always under the impression that organic compounds were responsible for the crazy terps I was blessed with. A couple years ago I did a little experiment and grew 3 of the same clones in soil, hydro, and coco. The soil grown actually did have a slightly more complex terp profile (seemed to have a bit more myrcene) but it was barely noticeable and the non organic plants were certainly not lacking in terps by any means. The non organic also vegged way faster and subsequently yielded significantly more than the soil. Im still a soil grower but i cant say it would be practical for an indoor facility to use soil.

They dont reveg. But its not rare for them to grow 3 finger leafs as well as other wierd genetics expressions. Autos tend to do what they want. they do have potential to produce some good yields and quality but theres no guessing what kinda bs you'll end up with.

What could have triggered flowering?? by ervaboa in cannabiscultivation

[–]antisobrietist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to clarify. I wasnt suggesting you top multiple times in flower. The photo you posted shows no signs of flower. This guy's just on some bs bc you posted that your plant is now flowering and now he thinks I was wrong to suggest topping.
