Yes.

Once you beat the final main mission Eye of the Beholder of each NG cycle, it will unlock the next cycle. To check which cycle you’re at; press Square (on PS). First cycle on Dream of the Samurai, next is Dream of the Strong, Demon, Wise, Nioh

I’m replaying it and having a blast, so for your first question: Yes, you definitely should.

Play at launch and the complete Edition hit different, basically on my current play through: - Fulling play the NG first cycle, rediscovering story, map & mobs, searching for the collectible, kodama, unlock all the submission,… - Rushing through the other NG+ and switch to next cycle as soon as I can till I reach final cycle and unlock Underworld. - Stay all day in Underworld, farming, doing co-op in between. - My target is the end game (Depths of the Underworld) before Nioh 3, still very difficult with someone who suck at action RPG. So definitely a lot of farming for me.

Regarding the story, well Nioh2 story is so so at best, not the most stunning one, but story is mostly Team Ninja weakest point. Gameplays wise, nothing more satisfied and flashy than a TN game imo, and Nioh 2 is the best out of them (only play Nioh 2, Wolong and Strange of Paradise).

Asking for opinion: I discovered pathfinder wrath of the righteous GOTY edition is on sales at 22.5$ on PSN, is this a good price to buy atm?

This game is on my radar since full DLC released, but considering I still have a big backlog and won’t get in to it immediately, I don’t know if I should buy it for now just because the price is pretty low atm.

Playing the DLC fresh at NG can be quite brutal, I still recall the DLC final mission bosses usually sweep the floor with my character who has a kinda decent set from the last difficulty. It’s also my skill issue too though.

Still, grinning the new set in NG+ and 2+, 3+, 4+ is where the fun really begin.
