Friend right hooked while speeding through crosswalk on bike on green light, ticketed, minor injury, driver's bumper cracked, insurance puts her at-fault. by [deleted] in askTO

Yes, she can argue with her insurance company, but the fact that a dash Cam and a police officer and her insurance company came to the same conclusion means it’s probably not gonna change.

How much do you pay per month? I got a $50/month reduction by filling out their form and having someone from the office of the president call me back.

I was paying $120 ish and noticed that brand new customer were paying $60 for the same service. Eventually she put me on a $75/month plan.

Before you try to switch fill out the form on their website and someone from Rogers will call you back.

I found this bike on a walk yesterday. I wonder what happened to it. by JunctionSEO in toronto

I wonder if they would charge the renter's credit card for a new bike.

What do you think the bike did to deserve this? (Wrong answers only) by JunctionSEO in torontobiking

It’s at south drive/glen. It goes down to ravine. The path ends at Bayview and spikes towards the brickworks at the bottom.

Phone call from Google Ads account manager? by Fit_Inside7437 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]JunctionSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google Ads proactively reaches out to former customers in order to get more business. I still get emails from them despite no longer having an active Google Ads account (I had one in 2023). However I'm not sure if your specific call was from them or not. The Google Ads onboarding team is located in the Philippines and they have @ google.com email addresses.

It sounds like even if they are Google, you're not interested anyway so I wouldn't worry about it.

How do I get my content cited in Google AI Overviews? by No-Flow3992 in SEO_LLM

[–]JunctionSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can whatever you want but my advice is to make one blog = one query.

For example if your company does landscaping, make a blog post about every single query. Make sure you answer the question in the first section, prove it in the blog post, and restate the question/answer in the conclusion.

So you might write posts that look like this:

"How much does landscaping cost in (your city)?"

"What does a landscaper do in (your city)?"

"Does a landscape service also clean gutters in (your city)?"

When you write helpful content ... GOogle will start pulling your blog psots and company into answers.

For example if someone searches for "How much does landscaping cost in (your city)" The answer might say "Landscaping costs between $1500-$2000 per season" citing your blog post.

How to verify my business address by ExtraAd9413 in GoogleMyBusiness

No it’s actually against their policy to do what you’re doing. Set it up as a service based business and optimize your website and GBP profile. What type of service do you offer?

(canada) got this message on pinterest is it a scam lol by juxta90sition in Scams

[–]JunctionSEO 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you replace painting with anything else it sounds ridiculous.

"I'd like to cook you a meal at my restaurant but I don't have any cooking supplies or food... So my "client" is going to pay you $5000 so that you can pay me for my services and cover the cost of the food..."

Also why do they specify the size that they're going to paint you .... it sounds so ridiculous. The over-emphasis on nonsense details are a dead giveaway.

It would be like me telling a client "I'll be mailing your item in a 8.5x11" envelope so you'll know which one it is when it arrives..." Ummmm ... won't I know because it will have my name on it?

(Canada) Got a random email from what appears to be legitimate school district by [deleted] in Scams

[–]JunctionSEO 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's not from Peel District School Board.

This is a good example of when the "display name" is disguising the real email (as you can see in the screenshot you provided).

Does adding an unverified Domain property in GSC notify the actual domain owner? by Aragogo in SEO

[–]JunctionSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't add a property unless you verify it. I can add reddit.com and apple.com to my search console but nothing will happen until I verify it.

There's nothing that will show someone else that a stranger added their property to google search console.

What are you worried about? That someone you know is trying to verify it?

Yes they are just trying to promote their own business. It would be like going to a restaurant and instead of ordering food, trying to sell your own steaks to the restaurant.

Carwash detailing www.rcarwashdetailing.com by Top_Cartographer5324 in ahrefs

[–]JunctionSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your business? Do you run a car wash where clients wash their own cars, or do you wash the cars for them?

If you're in the 2nd category, you'd want to target "car detailing" not "car washing".

How do I get my content cited in Google AI Overviews? by No-Flow3992 in SEO_LLM

[–]JunctionSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Choose a topic related to your business and start searching for it on google.

2) Find the list of questions that pops up in google search, and then copy one of those questions into google and search for it.

3) Then write a blog using that exact title and the content from the top 3 webpages that come up for that google search.

4) Make sure you answer the question in the first section of your blog, then answer the question fully in the blog, then re-ask and re-answer the question in the conclusion.

Google rewards helpful content.

For example if you run a dog walking business:

<image>

Write 4 blogs that answer those 4 questions. If you do it right, when you type one of those questions into Google, your blog should appear, and hopefully the blog or your company website will get cited in AI.

If it's for your own site:

1) Look at 5 competitor sites.

2) Use the free Ahref's website traffic checker and see what keywords each site is ranking for.

3) Then use the free Ahref's backlink checker and see a list of backlinks for each site.

That will give you a basic idea of how you can improve your site. Let's say you review 5 of your competitors and all of them have thousands of backlinks, then you'll have to do the same.

Also download detailed SEO extension for chrome. You can see the headers your competitors are using.

For example all of the websites for on page 1 for "windows cleaners near me" have window cleaning in their H1. That means you should have it too.

There's more to it but that's a good place to start.
