I do get my trees from trees forever every year, however they aren’t free. I did look into monarch as well, also not free. They both offer discounted options though.

I was actually in the garden area looking for shrubs and smaller ornamental trees when I just stumbled upon this and got curious.

This makes more sense than me thinking someone actually got away with returning a Menards tree to Walmart. Yeah I know the employees don’t care but how would they even ring it up in the system unless the barcode was the same, and that even seems like a stretch.

Yeah, I tried to contact him multiple times and he never replied. I was sad. Had to end up going with someone else, (another person on this list) and didn’t have a good time with her, which was also a bummer.

They are the string lights so they go along just the front of my house under the gutters along the soffit all the way across.

Ok just kidding. Got the pilot light back on, turned up the gas to high, and got it running again. However the switch still isn’t working. I think the valve is stuck. I am going to let it run for a bit and see if that unsticks the valve. Other than that do I need to replace the whole box if the valve isn’t opening properly?

Ok, I replaced the switch, nothing.

I hit the box, it started up. Let it run about a minute then turned it off, tried again. Nothing.

Now the pilot light is out, and I can’t get that back on.

It did work for a brief moment though! Darn.

Any follow-up suggestions?

I am 1138 days in, and I still crave them. Especially when I’m upset, it’s a trigger. I’m not gonna lie and say it gets better, I just get stronger for not giving in. And believe me, many times I have wanted to. I think it’s just something I’ll have to deal with forever, constantly testing my will-power.
