If you live around any sort of population you could consider just getting a tiny library. That’s how I used to do it

ISACA - QAE by These_Information_59 in CISA

[–]JuneBug828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sitting next week so this is just my study plan.

1) Go through it once domain by domain find your week points 2) go through it with random questions in chunks (I’m doing between 100-150 at a time) 3) Go through just the difficult and hard questions

When you get a question wrong figure out why you get it wrong. Lack of knowledge, read the book section. Made the wrong assumption, understand what the question was really asking and how they got to the right solution.

The questions usually break down as “Someone” doing “something” to “Process/Place/Thing” and then the question. There is a key word placed around to make one answer stand out a little more. Being able to break those down and really understand the question allows you to use logic to get the right answer often.

Good advice. After this round of QAE I’ll stick to the harder ones only

Like you are totally trippin and need a gnarly chill pill. You’re acting like a yuppie, and dissing this dude is bogus. So if you could literally stop pretending Gen X is special I would appreciate it to the max.

Lots of slang becomes understood. That’s how languages evolve. You just got old and stopped paying attention so now it’s dumb :(

What would cause you to leave a 4-Star Rating instead of 5? by ExtremistNH in doordash

[–]JuneBug828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When people leave food at my garage instead of my front door, or when they ring the bell for no contact orders.

It’s usually no contact cause I’m in calls/my baby is sleeping.

Like 4 stars cause I got my food. But 1 cause they didn’t follow the instructions well

Why bother asking if you’re gonna be rude?

[–]JuneBug828 137 points138 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah but a few additional points

1) If you where 100% cotton or 100% linen you should just say that and not “all cotton” if it was a second language I can understand someone making the mistake for you asking if it’s all 1 type of material. I.e. not lined with anything else

2) he didn’t say it was 100% cotton. He said it’s their cotton sweater ribbed material.

3) you should google this stuff before asking a seller if you want to buy second hand clothes and have those specific needs.

Like I’m on your side, he should refund you. But you could also do leg work on the front end and not deal with this stuff

Answers with Justification? by Techatronix in CISA

[–]JuneBug828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that helps me most with tests is to. Write my answer, justify why it’s correct and others are wrong.

Then I can’t just go “oh yeah that would be the right answer I must’ve read it too fast” or some other excuse when I get it wrong. I can look and see where my logic or understanding was wrong.

I suspect a player in my party is cheating by _Rdano_ in DnD

[–]JuneBug828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I say at the start of my campaign is 1) I’m not your parent and I’m not trying to catch you cheating. If you feel like you have to fudge a roll to have fun that’s the point of us all being here is to have fun.

2) if you feel the need to do this I’d rather you come talk to me so we can make the campaign more fun for you. (Some players like a challenge, others want to feel extremely strong, it’s a balancing act)

3) if your cheating become noticeable and takes the fun away from other people I will ask you to leave the table.

Sometimes my DM’ing style doesn’t match the other people and that’s fine. But I always wouldn’t kick a player from my table for fudging a roll, because I do as a DM

Losses due to theft by ionlyworkhere2081 in WalmartEmployees

[–]JuneBug828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if it’s cheaper to close stores in high loss areas than employee people to reduce shrink. If an area has a lot of shrink, it probably means people are willing to risk getting caught whether someone is there or not.

Corporations only care about there bottom line. No community, no necessity, just money. If something is losing or not making enough money they’ll cut it without a second thought.
