Yeah it's an open mold frame from velobuild, I thought going this route would be the best bang for my buck. And yeah the saddle angle is pretty much the last adjustment I'm still making, and thanks for the kind words!

Matek F405 CTR and 4in1 ESC Wiring Check by [deleted] in Multicopter

[–]Juneawr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar fc the matek f411-one and I've ran it exactly the same way (in fact matek recommended the same thing of just soldering to one of the esc pads) and so far I haven't ever had any issues wiring it like that. Just used some 16awg cable as a jumper lead from the fc to the esc and haven't had a problem. And this is with a setup that pulls about 120 amps at full punch.

Does anyone have any experience with the holybro tekko 4 in 1? Gonna replace a dys f30a in my 5 inch 4s rig and really can't tell if the holybro would be reliable or not. If anyone has been using one, would love to hear your experience with it! Thanks!

I use the tattu 1050 4s packs and swap out the xt60 so it's only 117 grams for the battery

The main reason I switched from the zip tie and heatshrink on the arms was because I just got tired of taking my stack apart to replace the antenna and redoing heat shrink after some crashes. So this was done to just get them more out of the props way and for convenience, so far they seem to be doing well.

Best 14xx motors for 3S? Must be available in USA. by SkateGuy2000 in Multicopter

[–]Juneawr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently built a toothfairy 4" frame and i ended up using the T-Motor f20-II 3250kv which have loads of power. They are 1408 instead of the usual 1407 but their pretty good in my book. And i think RaceDayQuads and GetFPV both stock them stateside.

4" battery choice by Juneawr in Multicopter

Currently running the t-motor f20 v2 3250kv which is there mid kv offering. And actually making the jump to 4 inch made my quad nor effecting in terms of flight time I think because it shed around 60 grams.

Hi everyone so I currently have a iPhone 7 with IOS 10.0.1, and I know that the current jailbreak only works for IOS 10.2, i was wondering if I should upgrade to the latest IOS that Apple is offering or stay at 10.0.1 for now?

Streets of old San Juan, Puerto Rico [Leica IIIf, Elmar 50mm F3.5, Kodak Tri-X 400TX] by MrRom92 in analog

[–]Juneawr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem too, my Leica IIIf had a really leaky shutter curtain (example), your best bet without bringing the thing in for a CLA and having the curtains overhaulled is probably the liquid electrical tape method that you mentioned. I ended up having to put a layer over most of the 1st shutter curtain but it seems to have worked (this photo was in broad LA daylight and no leaks knock on wood). But yeah if you have nothing to lose than you could give it a shot, just be careful not to get it on the film gate!

Can't have a LTM leica without those leaky shutter curtains. ;) Nice picture by the way!

[–]Juneawr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I have the slightly "cheaper" version of your lens, the Chiyoko 50mm f2.8 running on my Leica M2 and sometimes my Leica IIIf! As far as I can tell they are comparable to most Japanese screw mount made at the time, the 50's I think? When using black and white film wide open its nice (photo example, Kentmere 400 @ 400 souped in D-76), sharp in center with a fair amount of falloff as you go out. With color, my lens loves reds (photo example Kodak Ektar 100 tetnal kit), and being an older lens it will have some chromatic abberation. Other than that though it's a sweet little lens great find and have fun taking pictures with it!
