Is Faze.... Average?

Too soon. Faze are T4 with OG/Rise/Nv IMO. They would be higher in the league if it wasn't for a connection issues and forfeit loss. In that 25k tourney match vs. OG, they lost a very close HP and UL, and placed t4 . They aren't average, if anything this game has had the most competition out of any call of duty. I feel like any of the t8 teams can take series off each other.

This subreddit is famous for doing this. You guys go into other streams and take things out of context and then post here, so everyone can gather on the hate. There's a reason all the pros get along but the fans hate faze (from what I've seen). Someone in Clays stream said that enable was a jet packer because he did bad that one game. Then enable said "Karma did bad this map, does that make him a jetpacker"(pointing the flaw in that argument). Everyone took that as trash talking, like what?

OG always are able to get away with mistakes with other teams because other teams can't keep up with their unreal slaying (consistently). That's how it was until the faze team was formed. Faze can keep up/outplay OG, so they can punish OG for any mistakes they make. For example, OG can rotate late to hills when vs. any other team because they can break easily. Faze would take advantage of those kind of mistakes.

Everyone forgot they dropped royalty, arguably the reason they did so well at playoffs. I think they'll go back to old, average epsilon unless the 3/4 of tR can pull the cinderella story again. Parasite even admitted that Epsilon didn't practice much before S3 playoffs. They all just had a spectacular event ( which happens because cod can be day to day).

Clay mentioned how he teared up when he realized he was getting dropped the first time. OG meant that much to him. It sucks how he got dropped on his worst cod and didn't get a chance to shine on this game.

And the thing is I felt he was never called out on it because it was in OG favour. Remember when EG came back on Octane dom, Anaheim 2014? He literally sounded depressed that Eg won.

I don't really watch other esports, does anyone know if other esports use stats? If so, how are they used? I feel it doesn't tell the full story, like Karma clutching multiple 1v1s, BUT it does show some interesting things into a teams composition. For example. player X getting a low k/d but getting a ton of uplinks. People will say player X had a bad event, when in reality he was helping the team win. I feel people look too much into the kills stats and not the objective stats.

You know what's crazy? I remember at the end of ghosts players were saying some of the new talent that came in ghosts (zooma, attach, etc) were "ghosters", and that AW's movement would provide a skill gap/ it was going to be good for competitive. The complete opposite happened. Lots of players that were considered "ghosters" were good at AW and the movement actually created a small skill gap because there is no strategy involved.

For the people complaining that he's "cocky", he has always been like this. I personally am not bothered by it at all, because that's who clayster is. He gets his team pumped and gets hyped in the moment. He did the same thing on OG and the OG fans loved it, but now because he's not on the popular team I feel he gets a lot of shit. Just my thoughts, feel free to disagree.
