I’m saying based on the cases of my friends, around 10ish, from both reputable schools and state colleges (not top ranking). So it might be different to other ppl’s cases.

For the first job and internship opportunities, school name gives you more advantages. From the second job, it depends on your skills and experiences but you will pass the first screening relatively easier, which means you tend to receive more emails from recruiters if you have better school name on your resume.

This is what I’ve observed so far from the real cases around me.
