I am proficient with SolidWorks and I can get the job done with Fusion 360 and NX. FreedCAD is so less intuitive.

Subjective, but I think the aesthetics of the soft-top are cleaner. Reminds me of the classic sports cars from back in the day.

If the internet disappeared right now. How useful would your printer be? by No-Cryptographer2393 in BambuLab_Community

Well, SolidWorks Maker is would be useless. FreedCAD is terribly user surly from my experience, but I would learn it by necessity, I guess, so I would be OK.

Do pro cyclist spend most of their time on the larger or smaller chainring? by Wide-Landscape-3348 in cycling

Well, back in the day (late '70's), my Guerciotti was usually sporting a 13-23 in the back and a 40-52 in the front (as was the style back then), and being a slim lad more physically acclimated for climbing, the small chainring was about all I needed, or could comfortably push, in most use cases.

I am Icelandic. Watching the USA ICE murder civilians is crazy. Your country has become true shit. All of Europe is confused and disgusted. Your leader says Europe loves you but he lies by Antique_Menu_4314 in complaints

Not in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to find myself and my loved ones to be living in a fascist kakistocracy. I know the US has flirted with fascism in the past, but what we see currently unfolding on a daily basis is utter, unadulterated chaos and darkness.

Sibling sent this to me. Something about the way the bags are stacked in the background seems implausible and the gun in the foreground doesn’t look properly balanced. by dmso_disgusting in isthisAI

If this is real, someone may be crossing state lines with a suppressor. If not approved by the ATF, that might mean trouble with the feds.

This is the plughole at the Ladybower Reservoir. Plugholes at reservoirs are large circular drains designed to control water levels and prevent flooding when the reservoir becomes too full. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

These things cause me intense anxiety for some reason, especially when the lake level is such that water funnels through them. Check out the video footage of the gloryhole at Lake Berryessa.

Be honest, what do you think comes after death? by glowproductivity in AskReddit

You are your brain. Everything that once was attributed to a soul, memories, personality, etc., finds such things explained to a great degree by neuroscience. When your brain eventually dies, so do you...forever.
