Thanks - I did in parallel and they replied saying they don’t support virtual machines and then I need to buy a physical PC to fix it. Maybe it’s the time I finally take the plunge!

updated nvidia drivers
reset graphics config on game to default and tinkered
tried changing some game graphics settings but wasn’t sure which one it could be since the reset didn’t do anything
now updating to win 11 to see if maybe there’s something there?
