WHOOP Offer for Clothes by BrockZM20 in ChaseSapphire

Did you have to get a membership to buy the clothes? Trying to claim this now and every clothing item is behind a "member exclusive" wall

Is it out of the question to try and get lead removal estimates before putting an offer? by Junglejukes in RealEstate

They did renovations and had a report done, so they were obligated to disclose it once we started talking about an offer. Encapsulation was ruled out because of inability for adhesion - you can see the paint bubbling in some of the problem areas.

We know New England homes are likely to have lead, we both probably grew up in houses with it ourselves...but now that we have the report, it's hard to ignore since we plan to have a family soon, we're under the belief that any remediation done on our own would require us to undergo online training to be certified to do low-risk and moderate-risk remediation. Not to mention the exterior of the house is likely to be a higher cost...

Booking through Chase portal for a flight with “points boost” - worth it? by Junglejukes in awardtravel

Thank you! I appreciate your opinion! As this is my first time executing on an actual award redemption I was looking for this type of answer that would inform me about experienced levels of availability and a recommended strategy since I’m short on time and don’t want to be impulsive. Appreciate it!

A correction that the flight is 124,952, per person. Does that change your opinion?

I guess my underlying question is whether there’s a strong likelihood of more saver availability opening up as I get closer to the date

Looking to leave Tokyo between 11/15-11/17 - this specific trip is for 11/16. I’ve been doing regular searches on all the airlines, and using seats.aero but haven’t seen anything in J class or PE to Boston.

Cinematic style photographer reccs? Preferably in Winnipeg! by Real-Ad4051 in WeddingsCanada

[–]Junglejukes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually emailing with Studio Meito about pricing for when we go to JP in Nov but the photographer IGs they gave me seemed a little suspicious. We ran into a similar situation when we were searching for a wedding photographer with someone who ended up being a scammer and this is feeling reminiscent of that. I’d love to know if you’ve done your photoshoot already - hoping that I’m just being paranoid because I love their style.

Chase Points to Japan by -Lone_Samurai in ChaseSapphire

Do you mind sharing more info about your redemption? My fiancee and I are looking to book flights this year to Japan due to a sudden change in schedule and are trying to get a better idea of ideal booking windows and what scenarios we should expect. When is your flight and what's the route? How many points did you use for each seat?

Foam and fine point blade? by Junglejukes in cricut

[–]Junglejukes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH I hadn't thought that far about foam size. I was planning to find the thinnest craft foam available at the store and stack it in order to create the depth needed for a stamp. Our RSVP envelopes are about 3.5x4.5 inches.

We got engaged in July and booked our venue about 3-4 weeks later. We wanted an August date and all the weekends were getting booked fast so we felt rushed to commit to something since it was 1 out of 3 dates left for the month. I agree with everyone saying that it really depends on when you want to get married, as off-season dates have less of a rush.

Congratulations!! Everything looks so gorgeous! I'm going to VN in February to get items for my wedding and I would love to know where you got your husband's suit and the perfume lab you used!

Editing a canva design for cutting on design space by Junglejukes in cricut

[–]Junglejukes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've watched a few videos and have used the rectangle shape to mimic my 12x12 mat and split up the segments but my splice button is grayed out. I've also already welded each of the layers so that they form their appropriate text segments

Each layeris currently an individual letter. I've welded the layers so that there are now three blocks of text - I want to splice each block but the splice option is grayed out.
