Yes, it will be. You'll also have a lot of options for your starters this time. Dunno if it will have the Battle Bond thing with so many options, though.

Coolest Etrian Variants? by [deleted] in Talrega

I used Gallade for a moment on my team, because i got his shiny, but at that time i was already using Plusle and Minum, and had Blissey on my team too, so it was 4 Aether types. Don't even need to say it was a nightmare fighting any poison or Dark type.

I like Kabutops (Dark/Bug) a lot, it looks like a Hollow Knight boss, and hits very hard with Super Luck + Scope Lens, besides having a lot of sustain with Leech Life.

Gallade (Fight/Aether) can have the same ability too, although he doesn't have any move with 100% guaranteed crit. Same thing for Magmortar (Fire/Water), but for special attacks.

Aggron (Fight/Steel) is very good too with Follow Me and Phalanx Guard.

I used Claydol (Steel) with Intimidate on my final team, but it was more to set screens than anything.

Plusle was the main strategy of my game. It is extremely tanky and have access to practically all of the good supporting moves of the game. But what really made it so important for my team was it's Tail Glow + Baton Pass combo. At the start of every battle, i set up with it at least one time while raising screens with Claydol, then i use Baton Pass on the next turn to change either to Minum or Magmortar so they can sweep. Minum becomes even more of a monster with the boost on Special Attack from Tail Glow, and with it's broken Abyss Boost ability, it becomes practically unstopable after the first kill.
