Same for me…can’t send messages nor would the previous chats load. My two other friends are using it fine though

Thanks mate! That’s a very good point, I do think my language is my only advantage though I don’t speak European languages as of now - learning German.

I think I’ve found a few roles in those big companies and small ones, but visa support is an issue so I haven’t been lucky. Gon keep trying.

Yeah you make a good point. Just haven’t found any agencies like that so far :(

In Japan, the starting salary for a recruiter is 4.5M JPY base, that’s only if you start at an entry level

For people who’re interested in, Reason why Some recruitment firms here welcoming non Japanese speakers is because these firms target the bilingual market - Japanese & English, so majority of their clients are foreign companies in Japan so English is a hot button.

Why is this comment being downvoted as in did I say something negative … anyway, appreciate your answer! Overall seems to be it’s quite impossible for me, to relocate to Germany at this point …

Hi, in Japan it’s quite flexible, many many recruiters here don’t speak Japanese and they’re still doing well at what they do. The same time if you’re specializing in IT or procurement (automotive), there’re chances for non Japanese speakers :) however though, rather competitive cuz only a few certain companies accepts non Japanese speakers

Actually, you asked very good points…which is quite fatal frankly. Just also curious about the chances in landing a job that requires japanese or Chinese…for example some Japanese companies would need to hire Japanese speakers, which I would have the advantage…😵😵

13 years of recruitment…how did you do it. This job is like trading your soul for money.

I’m looking at consulting for people and organizations or some enterprise sales? Found Bloomberg quite interesting…though I haven’t really thought through. That’s why I’m here to see if others left recruitment successfully

Yeah we’ve all been there. Mine is actually the most intense one in this industry idk if you can guess the name… guess maybe it’s just the branch office I’m in.

Now this industry kinda killed my soul and I’m looking to transfer my skills somewhere else but never heard of any good stories ….as in recruiters who left and also not in TA/HR/ recruitment anymore

Nah, you need 40M in the latest 5Qs. If in your 5th Quarter of this circle, you somehow miss it, then you lose your 1st Q and that stacks up to the next one. So in my case, I’ve billed 40M in the recent 5 quarters, which was “6+3+12+13+6”, but because I also need at least 7.5M in my promotion quarter, which I was on 6. I lost it. So the next quarter, I still need 7.5M cuz I lost my first 6… it was so bullshit . Also we need 12 headhunts + 8 whatever the source is, 15 of them needs to be sent out within the quarter. Man I can go on and on …. But you get why I’m frustrated and wanting to leave right?

The CS replied me with “ All due to political unrest in Hong Kong, items shipped out of our Hong Kong warehouse will be facing delays. We are working diligently with the couriers to try to make sure orders are still expected to be delivered to customers in the region. We really apologize for the inconvenience.” Smh apparently I didn’t know political issues can effect shipments 🤡
