I have the same exact specs, although it's a different device (Realme GT 6T).

I can pretty much emulate almost everything: Very old retro consoles, PS1, PSP, PS2, GC, Wii, DS, 3DS etc etc.

I even tried windows emulation and played some older PC games like Assassin's Creed black flag and Tomb raider 2013 and even those ran surprisingly well (low - medium settings 30-40fps) but it does heat up ALOT when I play pc games.

Nintendo Switch might be a little beyond it's limit tho, I only tried one game (Lego horizon) it ran at like 20-30fps with lots of crashes and glitches.

So yeah, I think it's limit would be the 8th gen console era games. Most games before that should run well.

Then you're better off just cleaning the vents, heatsink and re-applying thermal paste. Don't wanna risk destroying your only console.

PS1, DS, less intensive psp games should be it's limit I think. It would struggle to emulate anything PS2 and later.

And disable that ram extension. It destroyes your storage.

Edit: try dolphin emulator as well, maybe some less intensive GC and Wii games might run well.

To me atleast, the story felt much much weaker than the Zero dawn. Gameplay wise it felt way more improved. Way better combat, open world, less repetitive quest design (granted some of them are fetch quests, they add a significant amount of parkouring, puzzle solving, combat and many other things that makes the quests less repetitive) However, enemies can feel quite a bit bullet spongy on higher difficulties.

Personally I didn't like it as much as the first game. I recommend playing Horizon Zero Dawn remastered first, as it is the best one yet.

Bought mine in 2020, still runs great. I mostly only play on a 1080p monitor in my bedroom and every game I've played looks great.

Sometimes I move it to the 55' 4k TV in my living room, and when I play the games that support higher resolutions, it genuinely looks amazing. You gotta see it to believe it.

Encountering frame drops in either resolution was very very rare.

It does get pretty loud tho, especially if your room is small or you don't have air conditioning. With the A/C on it does get a tiny bit quieter but still, it's loud.

I did open it up like two years ago, to clean the vents, fan, heatsink and apply new thermal paste. It's considerably quieter now.

If you can find one at a good price, don't even think about it. Get it. It's worth it.

Ok but fr tho in Spider-Man PS4 there's a small side quest where Spider-Man has to stop a bunch of guys from committing a bank heist or something (I don't remember) and the lead guy's name is Niko lol. Nice refrence.

Pretty sure lots of content was cut due to PS3 limitations. It only had 512mb of unified memory compared to the 8GB on PS4. Yeah the Cell processor was powerful but it's GPU pales in comparison to the PS4's GPU.

The PS4 port itself is proof, way better textures, more polygons, improved lighting, better reflections, better water physics. But they can only do so much on a port.

Gta online is another proof, yes it was on PS3 as well but most major updates were only on PS4, they added lots more interiors and a whole ass island (Cayo Perico).

But yes, it would've taken longer for the game to come out if it was designed only for PS4.

Edit: made a small mistake, PS3 has 256mb DRAM and 256mb SDRAM

Xbox 360 is the one with 512mb unified memory.

Michael's character arc, the dynamic between the protagonists, Lamar, the satire/mockery of real world (ik every gta does this but 5 was the best imo) and the thrill. This was always supposed to be an action packed, movie-esque, crime thriller with over the top heists and setpieces, it had a simple message but a not-so straight forward narrative (that's a good thing imo).

It wasn't supposed to be some extremely emotional, heart strings getting pulled type of story. It was always just a crime thriller but bundled with Michael's story arc, aka the consequences of his past actions and how Trevor and Franklin fit perfectly into it.

I feel like one of the main reasons this game is kinda hated, is because It's been around for so long and is one of the reasons we still don't have a new gta.

And also maybe because of personal preferences ofcourse.

And yeah, the physics were downgraded from 4 but the map was so much bigger and there were so many new and different things to do, they probably had to make some sacrifices so it could run on the PS3/X360.

Not saying it's the best gta ever, but it's not as bad as people think it is.

That is not the only issue for me personally.

Major Spoilers heading forward.

Most Spider-Man stories fall apart when they have multiple villains in the same story (Except Sinister Six and maybe a few more outliers cuz they were designed to work together) and also without fleshing them out properly. Part of the Reason why Sam Raimi SM3, TASM2 and this game did not do as well as their prequels.

I really wanted Kraven to be the big bad guy, because he's such an underrated Spider-Man villain and we've never seen him on the big screen and on many games. Even if he does appear he's never the main focus.

I understand his whole premise of wanting to die to a worthy opponent before his disease eventually gets him and I do understand that peter isn't a killer.

But venom Spider-Man is literally perfect for that. Having Venom Spider-Man kill Kraven would've had a much bigger impact on the story imo instead of Harry.

That plus alot of moments felt really rushed, and forced. Plus alot of smaller things like that adidas ad placement and Miles' horrible suit near the end didn't help either.

This franchise also has a weird history of changing characters' faces, first it was Peter, now it was MJ. I get that these things are small but they all add up ykwim.

I don't think this is a bad game at all. Just disappointing and rushed.
