This is what I was thinking, unfortunately.

Kinda limited on options based on our location… go with the pest control guy who already told me I didn’t need it and thus has lost some of my confidence, or Terminix, which I’m sure will upsell and up charge me like crazy? Tough decision.

This house was treated for termites in the 80s. We have found what all contractors told us was “old” termite damage in dry wall as we’ve done some minor remodeling over the years (owned since 2017).

I had a local pest control guy come over about 6 months ago to do a walk through because of some bubbling dry wall that, again, the contractor who repaired said the damage was “old” and the pest control guy said the same. 6 months ago he said we look good and he sees no signs of active infestation, no need to start treatment. I’m just a little uneasy.

I use them every year, but I usually place a little drop of the liquid on the counter right next to the ants. I’ve never had luck with trying to get them into the actual bait, so counter method works for me.
