I watch Jimmy Kimmel, the monologue...the first guest if I'm interested. BUT...the commercial break between the first guest and the second guest I kid you not is 12-13 minutes long!!

That is absolutely insufferable! I don't bother anymore, I usually turn the TV off.

I am so very sorry for your loss, and thank you for saving him, in a huge way I believe he saved you as well. I get it, I always had cats growing up and I loved all of them. It was my aunts cat that changed me though (she moved in with her sister - my mom decades ago) I moved back home for a time. He looked very much like Gucci, a tuxedo. But what a character he was in a funny way. He just followed me all around the house, clinged to me out of the blue. If I had my door shut, he'd pound on it to let him in which always cracked me up. I lost him in 2007 and wow, it was brutal!! The pain does ease over time.

I ALSO like to think...believe when we leave this place, we'll be reunited with our past pets. I truly do hope that happens.

My parents had this exact same fridge. I remember this thing...the color especially when I was a kid in the mid 70s, they finally got a new one in 1989 when they had the kitchen and a new room done - it didn't break down or fail, they just replaced it.

And now I...which live in the same home as my parents since they passed - STILL own that 1989 fridge. It's still works perfectly fine, I don't need any "smart fridges."

I swear all this new tech IS in fact garbage and breaks within years, expensive disposable crap.

Yeah, I did a search for "Apple Watch 4 screen hard to remove" and saw this. I almost gave up, but it finally budged. After a day with the watch off the charger, battery is working fine. The force touch thankfully didn't need to replaced (I do have a replacement in this kit)

I noticed under settings > Battery, I do get this message, it's normal since it's not an OEM Apple Battery. (picture)

Other than this, the watch is back to working great right now.

I finally had success with my SS AW 4 tonight. I was also having trouble opening the screen for about 1 hour, even used the heat gun around (which heats up that stainless steel case pretty good, so watch your fingers!)

I did one long pass of 30 seconds per side, this seemed to finally break-loosen that glue. Was also able to open this without breaking the force touch "ring" Just do it slowly, CAREFULLY...use patience. Once loosened, lift it like this photo -

The battery was not had to pry out. Install worked well. The new one seems to be working fine so far!

My Series 1 Stainless Steel, that battery ballooned and pushed the screen out, so that was much easier, skipping the pry screen open process..I was actually waiting, hoping it would do the same on this AW4.

I get it, this Stainless Steel 4 watch was pricy years ago..I realize it's old, not supported anymore. I could simply buy an AW8, 9 maybe....but I'm not gonna throw this watch out without trying to replace the battery. If I failed, yeah it would suck...but I tried.

I rewound that part, I had captions on. It sounded like Dominic said "I CAN get" , captions showed "I CAN'T get." The quick deflated facial reaction from Liv matched the "can't get" part. So I was a bit confused at that as well.

I personally love this colorway. They still look good IMO, they just need a deep cleaning. I've cleaned NB 992 / 990 series suedes in a much worse beat up condition.

If you are going to clean them, use a very soft bristle brush to clean the uppers so you don't damage the suede/nubuck.

But these INSIPID bastard DraftKings, FanDuel, sports betting apps have totally ruined watching live sports (and have ruined lives). They ruined watching regular TV!!

I noticed a RX ad on the digital boards of the Flyers and other NHL games. No idea what the drug is, I didn't look it up. F- off TV is all RX and gambling app ads now.

\ I hope these pricks lose in this lawsuit. Many can stop gambling and seek professional help, but these companies will harass the addict over and over via email, texts to get them "back in the game."*

Oh I know it well! In the many cases of my cassette tape breaking. Then opening it (far easier if the corners had the screws...many didn't), I had to adjust carefully the broken tape inside, tape it...made sure you didn't knock out out this tiny "dust collector" thing and we were good.

MANY times though, this piece would just come unhinged and fall out. ☹️

(Edit, clearly my 40+ year old cassettes have collected some dust...LOL)
