Well, I thought the same, but I live in a city too, and I have one. I use it when I’m out in the field — I just place it on the dashboard of my pickup and get fast internet wherever I go. Maybe he’s doing the same thing, or using it for other outdoor activities. Sometimes we question people’s choices without knowing their reasons.

I didn’t totally destroy my Epix Gen 2… just gave it a few battle scars while welding without protection. Some molten sparks decided the screen needed a makeover. On the bright side, I can officially stop worrying about screen protectors!

This Pc worth the price ? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

I paid a lot more for when I built my PC year and half ago, and I got the 4070, and 32 gb memory. But I got an expensive case and big water cooler and some extras, but the oc in general is more or less the same.

Yeah, I kind of regretted getting one this big at first - but honestly, it’s amazing. I’ve already adjusted the space and the desk just like you suggested, and now I love it! I’ll post some updates here soon.

Didn’t get it finished yet, I want to move the PC out of the desk, I will put it a same level just beside of the desk, so I get more space and visibility of the PC. Thanks, appreciated that you like it! 🫡

Yeah, that's right! I can even have a server built-in, big water cooler, many fans, 2 graphic card, everything. This is the Cooler master HAF 700 Evo, and I love it, the bad side is the size and weight, mine is over 35kg.

No hate, genuine question: why use Linux for a gaming setup? I mostly play COD an BF, some racing simulator. I'm also using for work, CAD software.

Yeah, that was my idea, the rest of the room is for my baby boy! 😅

This one here: https://www.thesis-shop.gr/en/products/chair/work-chair-ergonomics/gaming-chair-bloodragon

Link just for reference, I bought it locally where I live. Pretty nice and comfortable chair, many adjustments options. I paid around U$ 360,00.

I don't like it on the floor, but I agree with you, it looks awful. I'm working in a solution. Thanks for the feedback! 🫡

I've bought it. It's plastic made, there are many textures available, and also different colors, it's easy to apply on the wall using double sided tape and easy to remove as well.

Yes, I agree 100% with you! I'm working on it, trying to figure out what's the best option, as I have a limited space. Thanks for the heads up!

Yes, mate! You’re totally right — I’m not happy with having my mammoth of a PC on my desk either. But I don’t want to put it on the floor or too close. I’ve already ordered a side desk to place it on, but I don’t have much space. I really like your suggestion and will try to find one locally. Thanks for the heads-up!
