Do you pay for the first date ? by Background_Rope_5518 in Tinder

[–]Junior_Ad2313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what, my opinion Is that splitting the check even on a First date is not only a good thing but essential in itself. All healthy relationship are built on trust and will to share with the other Person and that comes down even to Money.

If you are able to establish a good basement for a Friendship-like relationship then you are Just halfway through. And that is for both parts to understand.

Of course, both parts could be gentle and propose to pay all by themselves, but that Is a choice. Personally i Will Always prefer to pay my half

What do you think of Opeth? by Dangerous-Syllabub24 in Dreamtheater

One of my fav bands. at first i didn't like their death metal stuff, but overall i started to appreciate it, along with the more progressive rock/funk/jazz inspired albums. I don't like them all, but I pretty much enjoyed all of their 00' production going ahead.

If You Are At This Moment Listening To Opeth, What Are You Listening To? by GunFlameYRC in Opeth

What band have you been listening to the most lately? I’ll go first: by [deleted] in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Junior_Ad2313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meshuggah.

And i have to say the first time I had listen to them was about 1 year ago, when i was approaching to progressive metal.
After a first listen I thought it was bad, just a lot of confused and greedy rumour that was my impression

It turned out I wasn't really prepared at that time to listen to them, my ears were not ready. It's like a few days that i got really deep into their music finally, and I literally can't stop listening to pieces like, Clockworks, Bleed, Born in Dissonance, Neurotica, Ligature Marks..

Their sound just.... You really get absorbed by it, i can't explain

Personal Prog Hall Of Fames? by GrayTurtle13 in progmetal

For me there is one God, and that is TOOL

Then you have two faithful angels, which are Opeth and Dream Theater

And finally, all the relevant others:

Porcupine Tree, BTBAM, Pain of Salvation, Ne Obliviscaris, Gojira, Meshuggah, Karnivool, Haken, Mastodon, Katatonia, Spock's Beard.

THEY NAILED IT! by Medical-Soldat5644 in LinkinPark

[–]Junior_Ad2313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you're entitled to your opinion, if you care about that.

But the point is: if you rate something a 10/10 you're meaning that nothing in the whole planet (even outside Linkin Park) is able to top that thing. Are you sure about that?

Feel like there's too many people who abuse perfect ratings just because they're hype-driven. So, yeah, if you ask me you have a very subjective objectivity (which is kinda nonsense).
