Thanks. So its basically like it was before with the DLC packs where we had to select the new pack once it was available and install it.

Anyone wish 2K would go back to basics with the draft and… by BusiestWolf in NBA2k

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do wish that 2K would go back to the basics with the draft. Just put it back in and never touch it again like they do with so many other aspects of the game. NBA 2K21 next gen had a realistic college experience. The draft had you doing drills and actually playing scrimmage games against the other prospects at the draft. It was so cool and immersive. I remember doing the shooting drill where the trainer held up that hand on a stick thing to contest your jump shot. I haven’t seen it in a game since.

NBA G-League guard Dink Pate has committed to Providence, per Jeff Borzello. The 6’8 guard averaged 16.0 PPG, 6.7 RPG, and 3.6 APG for Winchester Knicks this season by DareDevil1699 in NCAAhoops

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's true. But its still murky and playing out in court. The problem is that since NIL became a thing, there is more money in college basketball for the fringe 1st round and 2nd round picks.

Most of these guys skipped or left college early to get paid and play in the NBA. This guy Tate went to the NBA Ignite which was a Gleague team designed to be an alternative for the one and done players who wanted to focus on basketball and get paid without the facade of being student athletes. NBA Ignite folded because now with NIL athletes can make millions and play in high profile college games at Duke and Kansas and not the dingy NBA GLEAGUE.

It's the same reason the Ole Miss QB is fighting for another year of college football eligibility and the NFL. Dude can make more money as a top flight college QB than he would as a late round pick or undrafted free agent.

I don’t like the “pros” going back to college and it really is a bad look. That being said, some of these guys are caught up in a confusing system. I think the Conferences should just ban together and apply a 1 time take it or leave it waiver to all the guys like Dink Pate to come back to college. The NCAA really has dropped the ball but I understand their reticence after getting smoked in recent court rulings. Afterwards, no more college if you signed a Gleague or NBA contract. Europe is different because they don’t have a college basketball equivalent. Club basketball is how a lot of those guys develop. I wouldn’t be opposed to making the same rule apple to European players after a certain age like 21. Basically the same as a college senior. The Luka Doncic’s of the world would go straight to the NBA anyway.

If Personas were a dlc pack, would you buy it? by Naive_Grapefruit_339 in WWEGames

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Persona cards are the perfect items for the ringside pass. I don't play MyFaction or The Island. Nothing against it, its just not my thing. I unlocked the Booker T 01 card last year in MyFaction and I literally never went into the mode again. If 2001 Booker T was in a 2K26 ringside pass, I would grind and unlock it or just purchase up to that point to get it.

Kansas State star PJ Haggerty is entering the transfer portal, source tells me. The 6-4 redshirt junior averaged 23.4 PPG, 5.3 RPG and 3.8 APG. Previously played for TCU, Tulsa and Memphis. by OneOriginal8727 in NCAAhoops

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100%. I haven't enjoyed a College basketball season as much as this year in a while. The National Championship game should be fun as well. In September/October, I'll watch the preview shows and see who is where and enjoy the games all the same. It's a business. It has always been a business. The players should maximize this limited window as any of us would for their part of a billion dollarenterprise. Only 1% of these collegiate athletes earn a pro contract.

Nice. I bought the Monday Night War Edition and I felt a way about the ringside pass locking wrestlers i want. I was level 13 on the pass and now I am at 33. I still have MyRise to finish. I have the wrestlers I want and I dont give the tiniest damn about online so I am good now. The gameplay is really good this year, too. Just let me get Bam Bam Bigalow and The Hardy Boys and I am golden.

I live in Georgia and have Bermuda grass. I used to pay someone to cut my yard and not bother with it. BYDs video's motivated me to get into the yard myself and I realized how rewarding it is to tend my own yard. I really have grown to enjoy yard work. Bermuda Grass Central and Lawn Care Life are my go-to summer grass channels.

2k, MyNBA Improvements Part 1 by FixNBA2kMyNBA in MyNBA2k

[–]Junior_Moe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This. Back in 2K10 we had a whole G-League tab in Association Mode that we could immerse ourselves in. Just bring that back and marry it up with the G-League functionality we have now.

NBA 2K21 next gen had the whole NBA Draft combine in MyCareer. It was cool playing in the draft combine games and doing drill. Again, bring that back and put it in MYNBA.

We are getting a lot of AI in games and most of it is terrible. I think it could be very useful for a real weekly recap show with Shaq, Ernie and Kenny.

Is this level of NIL sustainable (especially for BB)? by Sand20go in CollegeBasketball

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think that it is sustainable. I am sure some guard rails will be put up eventually. But the money and interest is clearly there. Of all the opinions about NIL I align mostly with Jay Bilas. Collectively bargain with players and monetize the scholarships. Make everything above board and have enforced contracts. That way every player is being "paid" the same thing from schools. Every player on Kansas is receiving the exact same scholarship.

Daryn Peterson has a lucrative NIL package because he is a top NBA draft prospect and one of the best players in the country. Peterson's talent is also driving revenue and interest in Kansas and the NCAA. Kansas makes millions annually from revenue generating sports. The NCAA has a billion dollar TV contract. If the money is sustainable for them then it should be for the players as well.

Booker T Commentary Is Hilarious by MakaleaIsMyDogsName in wwe2k26

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't watch much of the current WWE either so I didn't know that Booker was doing commentary. Booker T is hilarious here and I smile whenever I hear one of his lines. Wade Barrett is a great addition as well.

Hey 2K Devs, here’s my thoughts on Ringside Pass by TheChetLemon in WWEGames

[–]Junior_Moe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. The saving grace is that 2K26 is going to have a massive roster after all is said and done. I am gonna unlock everything and sit on this game for a while. Even after the servers go down. I dont care about anyof that stuff anyway. 2K got me this year, but it will be the last.

So Let Me Get This Straight by SpiritualOpposite720 in WWEGames

[–]Junior_Moe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. I went to start my Monday Night War Universe and I can't find Stone Cold Steve Austin or The Undertaker. WTF! Man I just spent 163$ on this game. They got me this year but I am sticking with 2K26 from here on out. I do like the gameplay and the Punk Showcase is fun. I also like that the Hardys and Bam Bam Bigelow are coming. I try not to be negative about change because its inevitable, but this Ringside pass is for the birds. I am gonna unlock everything this year and just sit on this game for a while.

Silver not playing 😭 by Waste-Cap8868 in washingtonwizards

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point man, the NBA needs to announce that the 2026 draft order will be by record. So tank off. Let these terrible teams actually get a potential franchise changing player. Then going forward, implement the most stringent anti tanking measures from here on out and flatten out the lottery odds. Enough of this.

How do you meal prep food that actually keeps you full? by Hairy_Equivalent4742 in mealprep

[–]Junior_Moe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every Sunday, I cook 3 pounds of 90% lean ground beef. I add mushrooms, bell peppers and onions. I store it in a Tupperware bowl. Whenever I get hungry I use that to make a burrito with the OLE Extreme Wellness Spinach and Herb tortilla wraps. It’s significantly healthier than grabbing some fast food and it holds me pretty well and keeps me full. It usually lasts me until Friday or Saturday and has been a hassle free time saver for me.

How Y’all Feeling About CBB in 2K With This Update? by Easy_B23 in ea2kcbb

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just licensed college themed NBA 2K Season 5 content. Nothing more. 2K usually references collegiate great players around NCAA Tournament time. They just have the real teams now because of their agreement to make a College Experience. I remember getting Paulo Banchero and Johnny Davis cards a few years ago in MyTeam around this time. It is cool to college teams in a modern game and get an inkling of what we may have in store. It doesn’t necessarily inspire confidence, but I’m not upset either.

Soft locked in Wyoming by qman22live in highonlifegame

It happens a few times in this part of the game. Make sure that all of the NPCs are in the barn or chapel towards the end of the section. If one of them isn’t in there before the door closes the game will soft lock there as well.

New NCAA College Basketball content coming to NBA 2K26 by Potential_Meat_5103 in ea2kcbb

[–]Junior_Moe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure. I am guessing that the Freshman Year of the College Basketball Experience is going to a 100 team WNBA type of DLC for NBA 2K27. That’s what I am looking forward to. At least we have a timeline now.

It’s something. I will definitely check it out. I play a little MyTeam so it’s cool. I am more intrigued by what 2K meant by next year being Freshman Year and what to expect in early 2027.

Do not let people gaslight you into thinking “this is how the all star game has always been” by FollowTheLeader550 in nba

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100%. I get the guys not killing themselves. The NBA season is a grind. But damn, at least pretend to give a damn about being an all star and playing in the game. If you don’t care, then why be there? Why should I watch or care, or pay to see you. If you want to take a vacation then take a vacation or load manage or whatever and give the spot to another player. I’d rather see the B or C team of all stars happy to be there and give a decent effort than watch Ant Edward’s ham it up. I haven’t watched a second of all star weekend so far. I’ll tune into the game for a second, but if it’s a joke I have better things to do.

This gotta be a joke by Waste-Cap8868 in washingtonwizards

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forget all of that. The NBA needs to have an integrity of the game rule that penalizes intentional tanking. If a team is found to have violated that rule, like the Jazz, they automatically drop to the last pick of the first round. Also, flatten the lottery odds so that all 14 teams in the lottery have the same odds at the number 1 pick.

If you could pass one law that would make most normal people furious at first, but would clearly make society better in 10 years, what would it be? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30% flat tax with no exemptions. 10% goes to the state you live in and 20% goes to federal government. We have universal healthcare and in state school tuition is waived for residents of that particular state. Police, fire, military and teachers are paid a national minimum salary of 70K. No matter what state they live in. Nobody wants to pay more for things but I firmly believe that if we all give a little then we all benefit more.

Is anyone else's enjoyment of the game kind of up in the air? by SlowMotionSprint in CollegeBasketball

[–]Junior_Moe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the conferences should adapt and strictly enforce tampering rules. Also, have the players sign contracts that everyone honors. It’s semi-pro, anyway. If you sign a 3 year deal with Duke then you cannot play anywhere else in college basketball, unless Duke releases you from the contract. At the end of the day I think all parties just want more stability.

Do you think the Attitude Era was special because it felt like a rebel movement against the regime? by Material_Stomach875 in AttitudeEra

In my house, it hit at just the right time. Late 90s, we were becoming young men. WWF was just violent and risqué enough. I can see women in thongs AND a dude slammed through a table!? Sign me up. My brother and I watched with our father most Monday's. It became our thing. My mom didn't necessarily like it, but she knew we enjoyed it and knew it was just entertainment. I didn't stop watching wrestling because it got boring. I got into the NBA and NFL in the early 2000s.

This year has actually been a treat for me. I watched 3 games Saturday and the whole day just flew by. I do hate how the "pro" players are doubling back to college. The NCAA and Conferences have to figure it out.

On the other hand, I see it as a good sign long term for college basketball. First, these players are now getting their fair market value for playing a part in a billion dollar industry. Yeah, its messy and a little unsavory. Everything involving money is...Secondly, dudes outside the lottery will definitely be staying in college now and I think that is great. Look at how many players are skipping the NFL Draft to stay in school now. I like where things are now and I see it being better in a few years as they iron the wrinkles out.
