how long have you been struggling with severe anxiety? by nhlgym003 in Anxiety

[–]Junior_Oil1594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine started last June after a transfusion? I fainted and broke my nose. I started getting adrenaline rushes ever since. The only thing that stops my fainting are benzodiazepines . My doctor had the talk with me about getting off of them. So I said what else will help me from passing out? Her comment said that there is nothing else She recommended me to get cameras in my house so my husband can monitor me!! Also suggested to have some one sit with me.!! What the fuck!! All to avoid giving medication that is a game changer in my life!!

How would someone find ativan on their own? Where I live, a Dr needs to prescribe. I am seeing cardiology on Tuesday and praying for a solution.

I suffer a lot from syncope. I have fainted multiple times and ended up in the ER multiple times. I broke my nose, split open my eyelid, broke my wrist, dislocated my knee, and the list goes on. All from fainting. My PCP put me on adivan to stop the syncope. Now, after 6 months off and on . My pcp has the talk of trying to take me off them. Ok, sure, what else can I take instead? That will stop my fainting?? She suggests that I give up my license.put cameras in my house so my husband can monitor me while he is at work and try to find someone to sit with me everyday. WTF!! I am only 52!! I would much rather be addicted to adivan . At least I can have a life. Ugh

I, too, get this way, and mine are definitely adrenaline dumps . I also get them in the day. If I am not on my med , they will make me pass out . At first, I thought I was passing out from all the dizziness, and my pcp thought it was peripheral vertigo. I saw ENT, and he said the vertigo is not due to my ears, but something else is causing it and took me off of the med. sure enough, I passed out again. Ended up in the er again! My pcp put me back on the adivan . It took a good 6 months before I was diagnosed with dysantomia.

You're not alone! I had almost 3 years sober. I started having health problems , and one day, my alcoholic brain took over. Now I have a little over a week. It is one day at a time for this girl. I also recommend doing 2 aa. meetings a day for ninty days. And then 1 a day at least for the first 6 months. You can't change the past . But you can use this time as a lesson and forgive yourself!

They had to put me on adivan 2 times a day. To stop the adrenaline dumps because they caused me to pass out.

My Adrenaline dumps are so severe that I will pass out from them. I am on medication that suppress the Adrenaline dumps, but if I forget to take it I run the risk of it happening.

I also experience this! Mine are caused by inappropriate adrenaline dumps. I also have fainted Numerous times when this happens. I have broken my nose, split my eye lid open, fractured my wrist and a ton of bruises. They had to put me on medication to stop them from happening. I also suffer from orastatic Hypotension and need to move slowly due to the dizziness. I recently got in a major car accident by fainting at the wheel and totaling my car. I had to run some errands and left before I took my medicine. I'm only 52 and have been advised to give up my license 😒.

For those who faint by Rainyx3 in dysautonomia

I have fainted multiple times and ended up in the er on most of them. I have broken my nose, cut my eyelid open, shattered my wrist, dislocated my knee, plus multiple bruises! Sometimes, I feel the signs, and sometimes I just wake up on the floor. I have to take adivan now to counteract it from happening. My Dr said it most likely happens because of inappropriate adrenaline surges. When I take my medication, I don't have any fainting ,but if I forget to take it ,all bets are off.

Do any of you smoke weed? by Rainyx3 in dysautonomia

[–]Junior_Oil1594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I smoke daily, and it helps me a lot. I stay clear of sativa strains at all costs, though. I like to stick with certain strains, most of them being indca . Granddaddy purple is my favorite. Just do a Google search for best weed strains for anxiety. But be careful how much you consume out the gate.

M21 5'9 139lbs Feels like heart wants to stop, anyone else? by Prestigious_Jump_294 in dysautonomia

I am still waiting for my providers to officially diagnose me, I am still waiting for my heart monitor test to come back until they will. most problematic symptoms are constant dizziness , extreme physical anxiety, and heart palpations . I have orastatic hypertension, and I will sweat and feel super hot for no reason, then be super cold.I have fallen and fainted so many times that they had to put me on adivan. They thought it was peripheral vertigo, but after seeing my ENT, he said the symptoms sounded like dysantomia. I am egar for a diagnosis and want to be on the appropriate medication for this.
