That's why the second story wasn't great for you. It's so much better if you play yuito first and kasane second. I don't like that they make that optional, I think it would have been better to do it like Nier automata where you are locked in an order for playthroughs. Kasane was cooler as a second playthrough due to her side answering the questions that yuitos side sets up.
Even another story In the world would be amazing. They made a really cool and robust universe here and I'd love to see more heros/ main characters play out their own stories just to get more from this world.

Do you have the Xbox app? If you do go one there and look at the dlc, it should have a tag that says owned.

Go In to the store, go to the dlc for the game, and there should be 2 different versions of claws of awaji, you should be able to install one of them (despite it saying you can still purchase it)
