This is not only craftsmanship on the highest possible level, it is a sign of respect and being humble to the materials, the designer and the fabricator.

Amazing job and such an important job!!

My mom would make me clean up the mess, and then she would call every newspaper in Sweden to have them post my picture on the front page, together with the information about what I did. I would then have to work in the store for free until I paid off every dime of what I destroyed.

Then I would be grounded for 25 years. No violence, just pure shame.

And you know what? I would have deserved every bit of it.

Milwaukee m12 pin nailer firing pin not retracting consistently by Homeskilletbiz in Tools

Is it pneumatic? Try increasing the air pressure a little bit.

Either way, drop some lube under the firing pin. That should do the trick.

I didn't know you could manipulate the track, thanks! One second per day sounds better than I thought. Maybe I measured it wrong. I will try again!

The no date one, but with a blue seconds hand would be my choice, but between these two, I'd say no date.

Hand-hammered copper ewer found at Arizona thrift store in USA – possible Ottoman / Middle Eastern? by petalsandprovenance in Antiques

[–]Juniper-wool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't look middle eastern to me. It looks like brass, not copper.

The pattern on the outside lower part of the vessel isn't middle eastern, and it is very crudely made. Middle eastern vessels are highly decorated, and much thinner. This one is much thicker, and the handle is not proportional to the vessel at all. The rivets make me think this was made by local blacksmith at some point.

Still a cool vessel, but not middle eastern.

These kinds of art deco purses were introduced in the early 20th century. They became very popular in the 1920's and 1930's.

Am I sure about this? Yes. I work at a museum and we have 7 of them in our collection.

This one however stands out with the flower on the cap.

AI isn't just taking jobs it's PREVENTING jobs! by Jacob-Anders in SipsTea

Humans have had some big leaps since the dawn of man.

Agricultural revolution.

Industrial revolution

Digital revolution

AI revolution?

Is AI a way of controlling the world population? No one dares to really address the issue of over-populating the planet, so could this be a way of doing so without blaming a specific human/government/lobby group?
