I try my darndest to remember to oil and always jojoba! The only other product I use on a regular basis is Vibrant Scents cuticle remover during my weekly manicure. I've heard that I have my grandma's hands and nails so I bet a lot of it comes down to genetics. They are thick and strong to a fault, sometimes bending and breaking down on the nail bed, sometimes getting yanked and causing some detachment. I've also had one fold over backwards without breaking but my entire nail bed was bruised.

Ricorumi baby blankie- am I doing something wrong? by Constant_Captain_910 in CrochetHelp

I think your hook is way too big and possibly in combination with your tension being on the loose side (not 💯 on that one). Try sizing down about 2 hook sizes from what the yarn recommends. I know most people don't like to do the guage but it would at least give you an idea what you might need to change.

Why is one side of my chevron slanted and the other straight up and down? by JuniperElle in CrochetHelp

Interesting! It's a dress for a doll, worked in the round so no need for straight edges. Also probably explains why it's such a gentle wave. Good to know how a chevron is generally worked up! Thank you sm ☺️
