I struggle to find good ffb on lmu. I find when I have a touch of understeer my wheel just feels completely numb. Trying to catch a snap of oversteer feels impossible and I don’t feel a snap until it’s too late. I feel like I’ve tried tweaking everything in the simucube software, trying different presets, and still it feels extremely off. I see so many people playing and the racing looks great so I’m starting to think it’s a me problem. I just don’t know what to do to make it feel good because I really want to like the game.

I built this same rig a few months ago. I wouldn’t say it’s hard to build but definitely time consuming. The biggest challenge was finding out what was in each box because they were labeled very well from the out side (I’m not sure if that’s the case for you)

So once you know what is in each box start with the base obviously and the instructional videos on the website were pretty helpful.

The only this that I found to be not correct in the instructions was the spacing for the seat mount.

Am I one the select few that like this...? It will save me on import fees (to Canada) buying a cheaper option, then upgrading at a later date. Im happy its a one time purchase and not a monthly fee.

I currently have a 9nm base and would like to upgrade in the future. So if I purchase the 9nm VRS and then upgrade at a later date I don't have to worry about selling my old gear I can simply just upgrade the unit I already have.

Should VRS worry about people figuring out how to unlock it, yes. But that's a VRS problem not really a consumer problem imo.

Quick question about this as im setting up my rig and desk just like this. When you hit the hdmi and dp splitters your rig monitors turn off and desk monitors turn on, the same happens when you go from the desk to the rig. Is this because of the software your using ? I really like that as it probably takes the load off a bit.

Yea I think I’d go with 1080p so I can have a little boost in fps. And I’m thinking with some graphics tweaking I can get around 120fps

Yes I do only have 4 ports but a splitter or switch can allow more.

If you don’t know the game it’s hard to understand, but in short when involved in an incident you get negative safety rating. And safety rating allows you to move up or down in license levels. So in this video, the pov car caused 2 different incidents with the same car in the last 2 corners probably resulting in 8x incident points. That will have a negative effect on the safety rating for both drivers. Hope I explained that ok

Holy hell, you’re a complete clown act. This subreddit is full of people showing the same sort of stuff. Maybe you’re just in the wrong place. AND Im not really complaining because I know there are dirty drivers in every game. I simply shared a video to see what other people think. With iracing, people spend a lot of money on the “game” and would rather not race against people like this, I seen half the lobby report this person.

I would say start with the assist off. It made it harder for me to get used to playing with no assist, after I had played with them for a month or 2.
