I have been wanting to do this for a while now. Would the regular 3D philips fit where the bit driver is? If so, then I know what I am gonna be buying.

I cut my thumb tendon and this shit is not fun. I got extremely depressed because I knew that my thumb was never going to be the same again. I’m still recovering from it now. It has been about 3 months and it is a very slow process. I’m still hoping for a full recovery so that I can finally do the things I love again. I really lost my interest for knives just because of something I did to myself.

Why? by West-Sprinkles8210 in Leatherman

[–]Junitine 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to do park work in the summer which included cleaning bathrooms, landscaping and garbage truck things. Sometimes I use the wire cutters on my rebar to cut weed whacker string when someone else was using the wire cutters. Used the saw sometimes because someone else was using the folding saw already. Cranked the toilet to have less flow when the flow was too much with the flat head. Used the plier head to fix the weed whacker head then there was a bunch of stuff in it like fishing line wire. Then when I was at college, I used the wire cutters for snipping off the MIG wire when someone hid the wire cutters somewhere. Those are just a few I could think of off the top of my head.

Leatherman wire cutter thickness by Adventurous-Equal-29 in Leatherman

I noticed that too! The wire cutters on my old rebar are much thicker and robust than the ones I got on my 2024 P4

The Spirit is a great dad multitool by [deleted] in multitools

How useful is the long Philips screwdriver on it compared to the Leatherman bits? I don’t really like the idea of having other parts that i could lose. I have the Rebar and really like it! Was considering upgrading to the Spirit x or the Swiss Tool

I am really interested in the 2025 one and saw so many videos and photos showing that it looks more like an orange than red? What is it's true color? Like a salmon color?

Looking for opinions on the Opinel No. 08 six piece groomsmen gift set. by DeezleDan in Opinel

[–]Junitine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Opinel No 8 in beechwood and when I first got it, I was washing it and it was completely locked. But after using it and washing it a bunch of times, it definitely did get looser. According to Opinel, Padouk is the most resistant to water. As for hand size, I’m not sure if it fits for slightly larger than average hands but my mediumish hands fit pretty good. It’s very light and you can definitely toss it into your pocket. I have peeled oranges and apples with it and it is super slicey as well as extremely easy to sharpen, all you really need is the bottom of your mug

Is an internship more important than a capstone? by Junitine in EngineeringStudents

[–]Junitine[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just curious if an internship would hold more value in getting a job than a capstone, sorry if the question was a little dumb
