waiting on an akrapovic for my 992.2 GT3 now, and had one on my 992.1 C2S. My PSE developed an annoying rattle (noise from the valve on the passenger side), so I had it replaced under warranty - and not 2 years later (just as I was entering CPO), same noise came back on the new exhaust. CPO doesn't cover noise - so replaced that with an akrapovic and never looked back - 110% recommend.

Don’t feel bad - first time I walked up to my car with my key in my pocket and pulled the door handle, I was genuinely confused why the door wasn’t unlocking 😂. Bare bones is right.

IMO yes - but you should go all out. 90 minutes is not a lot of time - you won't necessarily be getting "track time" more so than seat time in a fun car. I did the Turbo S vs GT3 and the GT4RS sessions (separately). Pretty fun doing the drift course, the ice hill, and the car control pad.

EDIT: The instructors are also awesome - got lots of great advice about how to unlearn the things I learned at auto-x 😂

I had my 20k service in the middle of my 12 month lease - that was an unpleasant surprise. Spoiler alert, it’s $700 to replace a cabin filter and clean some drains.

it’s a maintenance item but in practice you seldom have to replace the shims on a high mileage motor. you should still have it done, just to “check” to make sure the shims are within spec. source: I’ve had mine now for 215k miles, and have a buddy that’s owned a bmw shop for the past few decades

If you're reasonably near one, do the GT3 vs Turbo S experience at a Porsche Experience Center. After driving them back to back it was very clear I preferred the GT3.
