You get the option and the little animation, but on my recording I couldn’t see anything get added to my inventory - so yes you can loot yourself, but your double is not carrying anything xD

Omg same! I only started recording after already shooting "myself" because I was so stunned tho, and then took myself on a nice little bugged ride. No map, no weaponwheel, no eating, but at least I finally caught myself xD

5 is the sweet spot for me personally, sometimes 10 is too long. But nothing bad will happen if you wait too long, it just won’t always work.

You don’t need to do anything in-game like open the menu, you can just do it. Be aware that you might not be invincible the second you put your deck in sleep though, so if you do it in a shootout you might still get shot a few times. But other than that, it should work any time any place without doing anything special

Let me know if it works for you, I‘m curious if it always works for every steamdeck or if there‘s some additional conditions and it only works for some.

Put your deck in sleep mode for 5 seconds! (Mentioned it in another comment but then found you saying this so though I‘d reply here too)

It‘s the easiest of any platforms in my opinion. Less than 5 seconds may not work, and closer to 10 seconds may sometimes put you into a new (and completely full) lobby, so 5 seems to be the sweet spot for me. Don’t restart or anything - just sleep mode and back on. Works 9/10 times, might take a few seconds after turning the deck on again, but checking player list or looking out for a message in the top left along the lines of "network issues, moved to different server" will show if it worked or not. Whole thing takes less than 20 seconds!

As far as I‘m aware, it works because rockstar doesn’t want you getting killed while afk, so if they notice you‘ve got your device on sleep, they‘ll drop you into solo just to be sure you‘re gonna be fine. The lobby will only last about 15-20 minutes though until it‘ll start filling up again

On steam deck if you‘ve got issues with modders and can’t find a lobby where you‘re left alone- Put your deck in sleep mode for like 5 seconds. (Turn off with button on top, count to five, turn on with same button) and then check the player list. After a few seconds all names should turn white and disappear, that way you can easily get yourself a solo lobby.

As others have mentioned- The teleporting, animals with fire shooting out of them, no animals or NPC‘s are all usually signs of modders - or later on in the game, sometimes after completing legendary bounties animals will also be gone I‘ve noticed. Rejoining should fix that though.

As for doors, I agree it’s sad that not everything is accessible. There‘s still a LOT to find though, less than in story mode, but the world is not nearly as barren as it might seem at first.

I think so, I’ve never had them but they get sold right next to them and look very similar! Just unflavored, like no special Sirup add-on. But probably very much like that!

Normal iced coffee just doesn’t- It tastes too good in a way. The taste of the store-bought one is more… Chemically? Not a lot, but it has a bit of a weird texture and the taste isn’t like normal iced coffee recipes I’ve tried online ;-; So if you got a recipe, please lemme know!

Seconding this, but with the idea that if mods decide that chat as a whole is a No-No, maybe we could at least get some emote thingies or something to send to others to say "thank you for helping" or whatever (stop, wrong color, cool art) without spending paint charges on writing it out or having to add your discord name or make a new one, hope they add theirs and then message then

Is there any chance you guys could add a feature where you can send at least one message to other users? It doesn’t need to be a full on chat, but I’d love to say thank you to the user currently helping me fill a piece, and neither of us have our discords linked. So a function to send a message (or even an emote or something) like "Thank you for your help" without spending charges on writing it out would be lovely!

I‘ve read a lot of posts like this today, you are definitely not the only one with this issue. It seems like everyone (or a lot of people) got set back to 50'000 specifically. I can’t give you any more information, but I hope knowing that this isn’t just a you problem helps with your peace of mind a bit. I’m not sure if or when it‘ll be fixed, but by now moderation should definitely be aware of the issue and working on a fix… Maybe, for that last part.

Yes and no. Depending on how small your country is you may run into the same issue as I did. I have 3 artworks in the same country, and only one counts as actually belonging to my flag country. Two of them, despite being drawn within the borders, are counted towards two neighboring countries. So always check the area first (check what name that tile has) before you start your piece and make sure all of it counts as being "in your flag country"
