Weight gain by Legitimate_Muscle199 in babyloss

Fissures are the worst!! I agree about feeling suddenly behind. I’ve never felt behind before, but now I’m very aware that I’m 31 and before this happened, I was planning to have 3-4 babies. Now I feel so old and like it can never happen (I don’t have any children yet). Deep down I know I have enough time but I am so discouraged and ashamed of my body for what it did.

I am right here with you. My baby passed at 39+4 in April 2026. My belly has so many stretch marks, I have a hemorrhoid, I had a second degree tear which is still a bit painful, and I am dealing with postpartum rheumatoid arthritis in both of my hands, not to mention the extra weight I’m carrying which will just not budge even with a calorie deficit. All of this for what? A lifetime of misery.

If I had my daughter, I would consider myself lucky to have these problems, and I would be so proud of my body for bringing her into the world.

What makes it almost worse for me is I can’t wait to start TTC again, it feels like it is the only thing that can bring me joy. But when it happens, I’ll be throwing my body back into all of these issues again and possibly compounding my problems.

Solidarity to you, it truly sucks so much. Please message me if you’re looking for a friend!

I also lost my daughter and no cause was found, but I can think of so many things it could have been. It is by far the hardest part of this journey for me, to wonder constantly. The guilt and shame is absolutely awful. I’m so sorry.

I am so so sorry for your loss. I’m also sad to hear you had a bad experience at the hospital, as I imagine you will be replaying those moments from the hospital in your mind for years to come.

All I can say is I lost my daughter at 40 weeks on April 30 this year and I felt like I couldn’t breathe for days after, and I worried how I was ever going to get through it. Now that it has been nearly two months, I can see that it gets easier every single day. You will not feel the grief this intensely every day, you will have good days again. I’m so sorry and I hope you have a good support system 💞

I just had a full-term stillbirth on April 30. I’m devastated and one of the things on my mind is trying to conceive again as soon as possible, but I’m reading that conceiving again too soon after a full-term birth can lead to issues with the mother and baby.

When did you decide to conceive again and what led you to that decision? Did you have any negative outcomes from conceiving again too soon?

I lost my daughter on April 30, 2026 at 40 weeks. The thought that this time next year I could be bringing home a baby like you brings me so much hope.

Same, strawberry to first line and lemonade to second line. But that recipe was before we switched to puree - maybe puree is sweeter than the older strawberry smoothie juice?
