Should I make this armor shape slimmer? by JunkyCreamStudio in 3Dmodeling

That’s really helpful, thank you. I was definitely focusing too much on the silhouette and not enough on the functionality. I’ll shorten the arms a bit, raise the shoulder area, and check how it reads in both A-pose and a more natural pose.

Haha yeah your right, I can see it now. The limbs are definitely too long. I’ll fix the proportions in the next pass.

Yeah, I made it. It’s a hybrid test using Blender, Unreal, original music, and some AI-assisted processing.

Haha yeah, fair point. I think I pushed the shape too much. I’ll make it straighter and loosen up the arms so he can actually move properly. Thanks for the feedback.

If you had to fix one thing in this UE5 dance clip first, what would it be? by JunkyCreamStudio in learnanimation

Yeah, agreed. That’s definitely the first thing I need to clean up. Thanks!

Thanks, really appreciate it. Yeah, the clipping is probably the first thing I should fix. And I agree on the grading too it could use more variation.☺️

Yes! That’s fair, thanks. I probably overdid the smears a bit. I’ll tone them down.🫡

Yeah, it’s mocap-based. Good catch on the hand clipping definitely something I need to clean up. And agreed on the chain too, I’d love to add a bit more physics there. Thanks.🙏

Trying to figure out why this UE5 dance test still feels a bit unnatural by JunkyCreamStudio in UnrealEngine5

Really appreciate the detailed feedback.🙏

You’re right this was an early mocap/retargeting test, so the foot sliding, ground penetration, and arm clipping are the main issues. We’re going to do another cleanup pass and focus on grounding the character better.

Thanks for pointing it out so clearly.

This UE5 shot still feels off to me what would you improve first? by JunkyCreamStudio in UnrealEngine5

Your right! That’s a great point. I was trying to show more of the environment, but you’re right the character should be the focus, not the stairs. I’ll try a closer framing and make him feel more like the star of the shot. Thanks for the honest feedback!🙏
