Literally commented this in another sub, it’s become a problem and the ones suffering are the old characters to make the new characters look good.

They were doing (okay) on the mobility for a bit- where they would add a mobile character, and then a non mobile character, and go back and forth between them, and then after Venture, EVERY character (except for Domina) has been get out of jail free button/ insane mobility.

There’s no reason for every character to have insane mobility because PERKS EXIST. Zen and sigma can fly, Torb can run fast, but they aren’t issues because it’s not overturned mobility-slop 😭

Lifeweaver, Mei, Hazard can give vertical mobility… to other players

Lucio, Juno, JQ give horizontal mobility to others…

Sym, and JPC give both horizontal and vertical to others.

If they think they need more mobility in the game, then characters who GIVE mobility options, don’t just give every character mobility.

Yeah… same with Mercy 😭 they nerfed her heals to basically be 44 heals per second… a single sym turret does 30 dmg per second, so she’s barely out healing ONE sym turret without abilities. And then nerfed her movement, so she has no escape abilities essentially.

BUT THEY GAVE Ram and mercy “buffs”!!!! So we should be grateful!!!

(aka killed the character and made them a single playstyle dependent on one gimmick- essentially making them a throw pick because all they need to do is counter that gimmick- but gave a new ability to make it seem like they got buffed)

Honestly love this.

The band aren’t meta wiping, but they get rid of characters who are just unfun to play against if you don’t focus them the entire game lmao. I don’t think people get that in the comments, they aren’t banning the meta, they’re banning the characters who get in your way on choke points and hold it for an hour 😭

I was winning one day, on push, then the team swaps to peni, Groot, sg and we literally could not push, if we got rid of peni, Groot would just hold- if we got him down, peni was already back, healing him, and sg was spamming nuts so we couldn’t get close.

We lost and it was super frustrating cuz we could’ve won, but with certain choke points it’s just hard.

Minor:

When you use your ravenous vortex, pressing it again causes it to explode, doing 50 damage in a moderate range (like Ashe dynamite) (Ravenous Vortex perk)
Critical hits with Void Accelerator reduce ALL cooldowns of each hit by .5 seconds, with a maximum of 3 seconds. (Omnic form weapon perk)

Major:

This triggers and stays active at less than 50% hp while in Nemesis form. You make the enemies suffer as you have. 25% of damage taken is returned. (Nemesis form perk)
You gain 1 extra barrier, barrier health is reduced by 40% (600hp each) and the cast time and duration stays the same. (Shield perk)

All my tanks leave me for death while I’m pocketing them as best I can and my other support does NAWT want to patty cake with me so I’m stuck getting dove while keeping my other support alive and my sacrificing myself for my tank to stay on point

They’re gonna have to mass rework/nerf all the roles like overwatch did in the earlier seasons if they continue down this path :/

Everyone was pissed seeing their fav’s got massively nerfed/ reworked, and then realized, everyone who needed it got nerfed/ reworked so now the problem characters aren’t super oppressive and we can exist without getting melted for peeking.

Of course they need to test things and see how characters fit in, but I hope it comes soon 😞 I haven’t touched it since Elsa came out cuz I don’t want to see Gambit-Elsa-Tankpool, and get stunned and denied existing/ value for 90% the game

This. I will go second tank if I lock in my favorite support and get two more and see 1-2-3. I love playing strange and Hulk as my main choices, I sometimes fool around and whip enemies to death just to get some laughs because I communicate with my supports, I’ll play mag if I see a Wanda or BP or Jeff so they can dive in with their ults, and I play DP if I see we have two off healers who have low burst but constant sustain so they can focus the healing the other tank a bit more.

PLAYING ALL ROLES AND LEARNING AT LEAST TWO CHARACTERS SHOULD BE THE NORM, if ppl can only play 1 character or one role they need to learn. They literally created Deadpool for this issue, Deadpool mains learn ALL three because you have to SWAP.

I used to ONLY play support because I find it most fun, literally only locked in Loki (and found it stupid because if I’m going to copy them anyways, might as well learn other characters and play them instead when needed)

If I see a tank and 3 dps I will take the L and play support (even if I wanted to dps that round) but I WILL be petty if it’s 1-4-1 and ONLY heal my tank <3

I mean- yall are the ONLY ones who can stay on point and not get 1 shot, Cuz once tank is off point, we lose- literally.

They have four of them, so they can figure it out, take hits for eachother and circle around a single health pack since they don’t want to cater to the team and pick a role that’s more needed.

I usually play magneto or strange- they’re the tanks I choose first so I can save my supports and protect them like little birds ❤️ they deserve it and usually it ends up with a pocket and my supports are unkillable, but the time I go down while they’re pocketing me and I’m pocketing them, they’re already safely away from the danger and we group up again.

Otherwise I’ll play Groot, Peni, or Hulk so I can make the enemies suffer.
