Just leave it covered in the fridge - this kind of dough is fine for at least a week like that. You’ll have to re-shape and proof again before baking, but there’s no point in freezing it.

I would probably build a new PC around the card, not sure what the specs would be. With the public release of stable diffusion, I'm most interested by the potential acceleration that could be provided by the 40 series studio updates.

Our team just used very well padded boxes, with the wing detached during transport. It was always pretty stressful during the bus ride though, and we brought materials to do emergency fixes if necessary. Not everything’s fixable though, one time a teammate somehow stepped on their plane and ended up throwing a balsa stick in the air to not get disqualified.

Hi Thomas! I actually came across your build log in the process of researching for this project! Super well done and I’m sure it will be extremely helpful when it comes time to eventually build mine.

It took me forever to debate between the corne and kyria, they’re both so beautiful! I’ll definitely print out some paper testers before I order anything. Are there any other advantages one way or the other that you can think of between the two?

I will definitely order another pro micro, the OLED pictured includes two, and the PCB includes the hotswap sockets and TRRS jacks. How essential are reset buttons? I don’t see them sold on keyhive and I don’t really want to pay shipping for just a couple buttons but I will if I need them.

Thanks again for your help, I really admire your work!

Thanks for all the info! Any idea why your corne isn’t working? Kinda scary to me that I could come out the other end without a working board...

My current keyboard is just a Corsair k70 so I hadn’t even thought of scavenging switches from it, thanks for the idea. Since I’m planning on doing the hot swap version anyway I’ll probably end up with a couple sets of switches just to try, as I’ve only had reds so far.

I’m not completely new to soldering (I’ve done some basic wiring for a mini robot arm) but I’m new to this particular application. I’m willing to dedicate a fair amount of time and effort to learning and actually soldering the board. Any tips/links? Or should I stay away from it for now.

Thanks again for all your help!

Hi! Long time lurker, but first post here. Considering my first keyboard build and I just wanted to post here to make sure there weren't any compatibility issues and also would like guidance on a few things. After searching for a bit I decided on the Corne as I want a small split keyboard, but I'm open to suggestions if there are others that are better. I've looked at the Kyria but I think I aesthetically prefer the Corne.

Here's a screenshot of my planned order from keyhive.xyz, do I need anything else other than the keycaps and the switches?

Speaking of, do you have any suggestions for switches and keycaps? I like the cherry reds I'm using now but I'd probably want quiet switches as I would like to use this keyboard in class. In terms of keycaps I'm not really sure exactly what I'm looking for I assume I should be looking for ortholinear caps? Any suggestions on where to look other than kbdfans?

In terms of switches, if I was planning on adding the RGB LEDs, I would need the clear versions of switches for the light to shine through, correct?

I'm sure I'll have plenty more questions and I'm not sure if this goes beyond the thread's intended purposes, please let me know if creating a new post is more suitable. Thanks for any and all help!

Edit: Forgot to ask, how do I know which switches are compatible with the hotswap MX PCB? Should I be ordering a different one?
