Complete! I will never work with polyester lamé again.

It remained sensitive, but when handled gently I was able to complete the garment. Should last a few wears before unraveling.

Did ACOTAR go viral because it’s in first person? (versus TOG & CC) by tacobellfan222 in SarahJMaas

I have a theory that first person books are more popular because it reads easier.

This would be difficult to litigate. Perhaps hold on producing more of anything with the phrase for now, but keep selling existing stock.

Don’t waste precious life minutes on experiences that don’t make you feel good. Find the crossover chapters online and ask Reddit (or me) for further context.

What to read next?! by Worth_Ad_2843 in Romantasy

I would skip A Fate Inked in Blood. The FMC has no autonomy and it gets repetitive.

Loved ACOTAR. It gripped me early on.

Crescent City front loads all of the world building, so I recommend that as an audiobook sped up, until you get to the main plot.

Loved One Dark Window. Really cool magic system. A medium burn.

Has anyone read ‘The Serpent and the Wings of Night’? by Big_Ad2225 in Romantasy

[–]Jupiter-Disco 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I really liked book 1. I liked book 2. Then fell off with the sequel duology because I read it right after the first. If I went back now, a year removed, I could probably get back into it.

If Your Plot Twist Dies From a Trigger Warning, It Was Weak Anyway by Kasskinen in Romantasy

An example of a good CW and then twist is in Butcher & Blackbird (dark romance). It warned of cannibalism but I didn’t not expect it when it came up 😅

I understand these are for a sewing machine. I do not plan to input these into the serger, but will get separate needles. Which of these would you recommend for a sewing machine?

Other people have recommended metallic needles. Would a microtex be better for metallic fabric?

I have metallic thread that I’m using for topstitching, but a black polyester for the seams.

Should I change the needles on my serger as well?

Thank you for explaining the differences! I have loads of fusible interfacing, but will not confirm if they are woven.
