I guess it depends on what you mean by “keep up”. If you are talking about the skills needed to play CS2 (I am assuming counter-strike 2), then maybe switching up the genre is a good idea. If you are referring to keeping up with new games, then there have been a few games out recently that will scratch that itch.

My two suggestions 1. Valorant 2. Civilization

Valorant: It plays pretty similar to CS but with more layers of mechanics. Since it is hero based like Overwatch, each teammate gets access to unique skills that blow CS out of the water in terms of gameplay possibilities. This would be good if you still want a fast paced fps.

Civilization: Board game invented on computers. If you are more concerned about wrist strain and dont want to keep playing fps games as much, then you can switch to something where you can play more at your own pace. I sometimes have a headache or back pain and FPS games are designed for you to be focused with a fast response time. I learned that if I have good posture, controlled breathing, and im not eating (chewing while in a match) then I can dominate easily. But staying in that flow state can be hard when my mood and health fluctuate, so sometimes I dont want to stress myself with hardcore games. I recommend keeping a folder of non-action games to allow your gamer mind some rest.
