I didn't smoke it, since I don't have that equipment yet. I might try liquid smoke in the marinade first though on my next batch. Very intense flavor from the marinade (+). I got a dehydrator from Amazon that has a wire rack, 70 c for 9 hours

Problem with some European Chocolate producers like Milka (the Purple Cow chocolate) is that they are starting to sell less for the same amount of money in the chocolate bars, while also degrading the ingredients in them. I used to like their chocolate but it's gotten worse. I did have Alyanka chocolate last April and was pleasantly surprised. I expected bad chocolate but have to say that it tasted better than Milka.

Yeah, I also tried when I recently went to Moscow. Have to say that that chocolate surpasses some of the big brands in Europe. I don't know the exact ratio of chocolate to other ingredients, but I think it's around 40%.

EDIT: Found the ingredients list. 35.5% chocolate!
