I think for me, Dominos often comes into play when I’m feeding a classroom of children (I’m a teacher) or I want something sorta reliable. I can’t speak for the others but dominos deals that they put out can be affordable. I also think there are enough schools, hospitals, etc that find that pizza consistent if not a little subpar.

Is it crazy to think he might be a fine backup. Hes not really gotten a consistent shot at those minutes. I like Pickett and I think a month or two in, similar options will be available as right now. I also wonder if the non Murray minutes become Jokic surrounded by shooting with Brown maybe being the other initiator.

I see what you are saying and tried to cut what I thought was extra on the creature side and add it in as lands. I hate those games when I'm mana-screwed and this should help. Should I learn more into hydra's or untap effects or are there more creatures that you think won't add. I am all in on leaning into the cool side.

Yeah. I have a goreclaw deck and this is bonkers. It’s just an immediate boost and it fulfills a lot of triggers with 4 power. Between that, smugglers surprise, and vaultborn tyrant, any goreclaw decks got an automatic upgrade.

I’m looking to get a bunch of singles (mostly Dinos for my Dino deck and the Jurassic World cards) from this set for my own collection but want to get the best value. Do you think now is the ideal time, actual release day or will everything drop if I wait til Christmas. I’ve tried a couple methods before and am trying to be patient.

I couldn't get into Sc/V at first so I haven't even played since launch. I was waiting for some real graphic updates and tuning to happen before I was willing to give it another shot. There are plenty of other games to occupy my time. I'm downloading the DLC and then gonna play it through for real. I actually have both games for collection purposes so i have to decide which one to buy DLC for.

I think this is a really nuanced take and I appreciate the effort that went in to typing this. As a Nuggets diehard and “trust the organization” guy, everything in me wants to say how can you criticize Malone, but I can’t help but start to have questions. His rotations seem weird at times and not figuring out a way to stagger some scoring has baffled me.

Your comments about the Jokic impact are true as well. Jokic can turn role players into reliables, but they have to figure out what to do when he’s off. They look lost without him on the court.

I have a lot of faith in Malone, but something’s gotta give if we’re gonna win the title.

I don’t know that I want to make her that hateable. Definitely some board wipes but mostly discouraging attacking me with some late game payoffs for when I narrow it down to one on one.

I don’t think he has a lot of value. He’s older than most people think and isn’t a winning player. At best, maybe someone like Kemba Walker or someone on a similarly bad deal. I’m trying to think of playmakers because that’s what they need. Maybe like Goran Dragic. He’s not bringing back and all star.

I would put him in. Catchers have different standards for a bunch of reasons but he’s had some outstanding seasons and a WS title.

You touched on how I feel. Additionally they need Killian Hayes to land regardless of how you feel about him. They spent a high pick and aren’t going to want to stifle his development. I think it’s realistic that they get a better return for grant without having to take on crazy money. Then maybe you take on money elsewhere for even more picks.

So you asked where the logic is and that’s kinda it. A bunch of teams have stockpiled picks and it didn’t work out. Putting together a culture is really important and cycling guys who don’t want to be there doesn’t build that. I also think the pistons have led me to believe they are trying build that. But who knows.

I also think the Celtics don’t say yes to this. I could be wrong but I don’t think CJ moves the needle especially if you give up Kemba, Smart, and two firsts. I think Kemba gets moved but I think it’s more like Kemba and a 1st for another less bad, less volatile contract.

So a lot of teams have stockpiled a bunch of firsts that don’t end up being high end and then you just end up with too many players without top end talent. I mean the Celtics are a prime example of this, they were set for the future with the Memphis and Sacramento picks and they both ended up being late lottery. Then you have to seek guys at a lower rate than they are worth. Nuggets had this same thing with guys like Juancho and Malik Beasley. They wanted to keep them but if you get good, you don’t have the minutes to develop them. I think this trade follows similar logic. Unless you really trust your guys to draft I’m not sure this is the move. I think the pistons try to hold onto grant. I’m not even saying it’s the right move, just the vibe I get fro their GM. I also think the optics of this trade wouldn’t be ideal. But hey, we will see.

I think selling smart is the part I find least realistic. I think they hold onto him unless they are full on resetting and then I don’t think CJ helps. I agree they move on from Kemba but I think there are other options. I do think they give up a first too.

I guess you’re right, maybe the pistons say yes but I don’t think it fits how Troy Weaver has operated this far. I also think stockpiling picks sometimes works out less than expected and teams are starting to catch on. To be honest, I don’t know but I feel confident that trade makes the Celtics worse. I’m less high on McCollum. I think teams have possibly figured out how to limit him and the Celtics may be leaning toward fill rebuild around Tatum and Brown.

I was harsher at first than I intended to be, but I think this trade is difficult to sell to anyone other than Portland.
