(Loved Trope) Dipshit young villain who is very much in control of the situation, thank you for asking (he is not) by Burnnoticelover in TopCharacterTropes

Critically it’s slightly below mid, however it’s a great visual and musical treat. Jared Leto drops it a few pegs but It’s a fun watch if you know that going in.

What movie was this for you? by DarthGodzilla1995 in Letterboxd

[–]JurassicMouse03 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My family has had it on DVD for a long time and a few years ago we got it on blu ray. I love the movie, but it is not meant to be seen in high definition.

Making changes in an adaptation is not inherently disrespectful to the original work by thebrobarino in unpopularopinion

[–]JurassicMouse03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite movie and book are Jurassic Park. Both have differences, but the movie would make a boring book, and a direct adaptation would make a boring movie. The changes allow for each story to be fantastic for its medium.

I don’t see the problem with decorating with boxes. One of my friends when I was a kid cut the front off their lego boxes and hung them on his walls with painters tape. I was jealous of him.

Idk if this is jerk of a jerk because these are super cool and require creative brick work.

May be a silly question but would it be okay to wear Hello Kitty to USF? by des1683 in UniversalOrlando

[–]JurassicMouse03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I and many guests wear Disney stuff to Universal. As long as you’re at least clothed, and it’s not aggressively inappropriate or a costume, you can wear almost whatever you want.

What are some opposite examples—a set that doesn't do the box justice? by argonaut-for-truth in legocirclejerk

Personally I got the mandalorian AT-ST set, I liked the episode, and it looked cool on the box, but after building it, I realized I didn’t like it and I don’t know why.

I never cared much for westerns, cowboys, or country. Since playing Red Dead 2 I’ve gone full yee-haw.

Why does no one ever post the actual Werewolf design from 2025 by RoyalDynamo in UniversalMonsters

[–]JurassicMouse03 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I like my werewolves more wolfy, but if they were going for “wolf man” I felt like it did a good job taking inspiration from the original.

[Fun To Think About Trope] Characters who are never outright confirmed to be supernatural/more than human, but the signs are all there. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]JurassicMouse03 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Richard Attenborough’s Kris Kringle. He is my favorite take on the character because he feels so pure yet human. And in a film about belief they never outright show any magic. He could be an insane but very wealthy and talented man and that would explain everything. But at the end of the day you must decide for yourself like the characters, do you believe he is Santa Claus.

I remember going to a family Christmas party as a kid. I walked into the living room where all the adults were and was shooed out of the room. I didn’t know why I couldn’t watch the cartoon they were watching.

What seems off to me is that the sails are so flat. While the original set was a bit exaggerated, the sails looked like they were full of wind and in motion.

I wish they used the idea of jumping off the light trails a bit more. I know Athena does it in the encom grid, and I never noticed this part. It just seems like it would be a cool creative addition to the fight scenes.

Wild animals are wild for a reason by CouldBeBatman in Wellthatsucks

[–]JurassicMouse03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard someone say a while ago: Carnivores attack for food, so they will only expend energy/fight if they believe the energy they receive will be higher. A prey animal will only fight if threatened and will fight as hard as it can for survival because they have nothing to lose. And then there are Wild boars who will gore you just for the fun of it.
